Back on the subject of the original post, I've no objection to Leon posting promos here as long as there aren't too many of them - but could I suggest using the forum image upload mechanism rather than linking directly to the large pics?
That's a time issue!
It may sound a little lazy, but I do make a lot of update posts and it is much easier to use a standard hot link post!
I just have a copy of my posts code, BBE and html, without the pics urls, I just copy that to one forum, then fill in the picture urls! I then take that and paste it to other forums!
The ones in this thread are so large I have to scroll the forum sideways to read the text in the replies, which makes reading the thread unpleasant. If the images are uploaded in the forum's normal way, you get very good-sized "thumbnails" (they're much bigger than UMD ones, about 400 x 400 I think), and clicking on one opens the full-size version.
I know I have had to read the replies as well, lol!
Its only the landscape ones that create an issue and under normal circumstances it would only really be me who would want to read the replies! I guess this particular post was a little different in that it was part of a wider debate that involved the forum as a whole!
I personally don't really spend a lot of time reading other producer's feedback, perhaps that's just my self centered nature?
Also (and this is just a suggestion - comments from mods most welcome!), perhaps (and this should apply to all commercial producers who update very frequently (IIRC Leon you actually do daily updates?)) no more than one or two advert threads a week (though they can be updated as often as you like)? That way we don't end up with dozens of threads from the same source dominating the place.

As for taking an active role in the forums, I do, I always read them and join in when i have something to say! Just because I don't speak in the forums all the time on every subject, it does not mean that I am not taking an active part!
There are LOADS of people who just read the forums and say nothing, look how many views any post in here has!
There are lots of lurkers!
Also, lets face it, there aren't many subjects that I haven't already expressed an opinion in!
I am a commercial wam producer, guilty, as producing wam is all I do! By the same token, I am NOT a mainstream porn producer or multiple fetish producer who has just clicked onto the wam fetish for a fast buck!
I am a wam fan, just the same as everyone here, anyone who knows my history, knows where i came from and how I started! I started in the UMD in 2000, with some pictures of my girlfriend at the time, fully clothed in the bath!
What I have become afterwards is due to my being a wam fan, be that a "commercial" wam producer, so be it!
All the forums serve a purpose and having the producers in the forums also serve a purpose! We actually like to know what we are doing wrong or right, it helps us to produce the media that people want to see!

True "spam" is adverts that are posted to loads of different forums and groups, it is stuff that is just posted everywhere, it is stuff that usually has absolutely nothing to do with the places it is posted!
I respect the way this forum is run and the way that it tries to only allow contributing adverts from producers, posts with pictures or clips, all my posts have these!
In fact on many occasions I give away full update sets, pictures AND clips!
