Hi
It seems there might be a slight delay in posting some bigger orders this week cos - our post office has blown down! The storms were so severe on Wed night, the roof came off the PO and the rain drowned all their computers!
Most of our stuff fits in the pillar box (and we have our own stamps etc) but it could destroy the St Leonards economy. Of the local population, those that aren't on the dole are pensioners, so the pubs will be empty this weekend!
As for the spectacularly leaky Splosh House....it's damp but nothing terminal.

That's Blown it!

I shall.
I was brought up in various post offices dotted around the country and have a bizarre affection for them.
Also can't help noticing the newspapers really laying into Gordon Brown for 'losing' those data disks are owned by Rupert Murdoch who also owns TNT - the company actually did lose the data disks. Just imagine was a field day they would have had if the Post Office had lost them.
Little bit of politicis there, yes indeed, ladies and genetlemen. My name is Bill Shipton, good night.

The story so far...
Last Christmas when Dolly was down, Wok-U-Like the local Chinese take away (handily two doors from the studio) gave her a free calendar which she put up in her house in Belfast. Some weeks later a drunken mate rang up asking them to deliver a meal - unaware of where St Leonards is - namrly not exactly a ' free local delivery' to Belfast!
Now read on...
PS And the girl behind the counter ends every sentence with "yeah?"

Don't worry about it, Doll. I'm not pretending this is the most interesting thread on the forum! But we'll have some more nice pics of you and Gilly to go up soon!

We've never done one on the grounds that they woould cost a lot to print and not sure many would have the nerve to put one on the wall!
Perhaps we should start a thread where people nominate suitable pictures for particular months...
