UK Price buster challenge...
Only wimps buy custard in tins!
The one litre carton is much better. Well, the one gallon bucket is even better but that doesn't appear so much as Tescos.

Okay here is what i found from tesco online
Tesco Value Rice Pudding 19p
Tesco Value Spaghetti 16p
Tesco Value Tomato Soup 23p
Tesco Value Baked Beans In Tomt/Sauce 17p
Tesco Value Ready To Serve Custard 21p
total: 96p wam session

Tesco Value Spaghetti 16p
Tesco Value Tomato Soup 23p
Tesco Value Baked Beans In Tomt/Sauce 17p
Tesco Value Ready To Serve Custard 21p
total: 96p wam session
And with God as my witness I AM THAT WIMP !!
Yep i`m the guy every week at Morrisons with a dozern or so tins of the yella stuff in the trolley
But in my defence i dont have a website to run or an arrangement of lovely London gals, Mag editors, & cute busty Irish lasses to coat in the Amber necter. So i stock pile it along with our other fave ingredient shaving foam, then every few months or so just have a real good Splosh session.
Inbetween the big ones we do fool around a LOT though few pies here & there the odd few tins of beans.........You know how it is.

Wow so a wam session for 87p then - every little helps

I used to buy the cheap cans of custard, but then discovered that a) Tesco have a "no more than 10 of the same "Value" items in one purchase, and b) when you factor in the time it takes to open all those tins, the 1l cartons are actually cheaper from a resourcing POV. The cartons also look nicer if you're shooting pics / video.

The Tesco litre cartons not being "value" can be bought in huge quantities - we bought 120 once! And they are currently 74p each! The consistency is better than the tins too.

Now that is mad as cheese Bill. 120 at once, you make my stuff for a messy shoot go to shame.
Hello.
Hello, is that the bank?
I'd like to take out a loan to buy as much gunge as Bill.
Why has it gone quiet at the other end.
regards
Andy
