Well, it has to be Natalie and The Great Race - which film is now 40 years old I believe, and that scene has, perhaps surprisingly, still not really been beaten in the commercial film world. Has anyone seen any out-takes (there must be some)? Has anybody interviewed the Director, Blake Edwards, or Tony Curtis, or Peter Falk (or any of the others who were in it and are still alive), about the planning and filming of the scene? I believe it was shot over a number of days (if so, the continuity must have been difficult !!!) and used up 1000's of cream pies - 100 of which, I seem to remember reading, Tony Curtis held back for the cast to throw at the director and film crew when the scene was "in the can". There must be stories and film clips galore about it somewhere. How about it SPLOSH, what can you do for us?
I agree the Stella Stevens scene is very good - it's also one of my personal favourites. The film (The Silencers) still appears on UK TV occasionally. I'm sure it's been on one of the channels during the past year. I have a video clip of it and always enjoy Stella's performance - superb timing and just the right expression of frustration and annoyance at what at soggy mess she has got herself into - although it must be said it is more a boggy swamp in a rain storm than a muddy pit. She comes across very well and wins my heart every time. I love it and was tempted to vote for it, but up against cream-pie-covered Natalie (as in my dreams I have often been), Stella has to take second place.
The Ann Margaret scenes are also enjoyable but the two above are the best in my view. Have not seen the Poltergeist film so unable to comment on it (so, I suppose my vote is somewhat biased), however, others do not appear to think it makes the grade.

I feel I cant really vote in this because I've never seen ANY of the films! Anyway went looking on youtube and sound clips of 2 of them. The great race one is poor quality but looks good:

and the swingers one seems just like an ordinary night at a swingers party

Shame I couldnt find the others

thanks for posting that. I hadn't seen the great race scene either - not bad at all... was pleased to see she took her silly red jacket off...
however, at the risk of posting off topic on this thread....
my favourite scenes have to be...
Sammy Jane in Pied Eyed Wives
Emma in Juicy Pairs
Bill (and co.) does it best!

Bill was working with Sammy yesterday doing a sketch for Gilly's Silly House. He tells me she has lost a lot of weight and looks amazing again - and can still take a lot of punishment (and does in this sketch which is very remenicent of the old Splosh! days, apparently). It also includes some jacket ripping! Yay! Another weakness of mine.

Sammy-Jane is definitely an all time favourite. I remember that fantastic pie scene in Hot Coffee and Sticky Buns - the first Splosh film I ever saw and, I think, one of the best. Her fairly recent scene in Mucky Puppies shows she still has the old magic -that mixture of innocent apprehension then outrage, plus she has become even more sexily voluptuous as she gets older -I hope she hasn't lost TOO much weight. Allso great in Gilly's Silly House
The scene with Emma and Jo in Juicy Pairs is, perhaps, my favourite scene out of all the Splosh films. Not sure exactly why I like it so much -perhaps the way it is set up right through the video, the mixture of things used with much over the head onto their lovely hair and faces, plus the fact that Jo and particularly Emma are so sexy.
Of course Hayley's brief film appearances have been highly arousing- definitely leaving me wanting more - plus her VERY stimulating writings!!
Though brilliant actresses and scenes in Splosh films are too numerous to mention.
Out of the films for discussion I choose The Great Race -since it was one of the first sploshing things I saw after silent movie slapstick and the occasional clown or Benny Hill where a woman got (usually mildly- messy) and is a good example of situational sploshing -deep thanks to Clown Julie for reinventing the clown scene and making sure an amazingly sexy female clown got really sploshed.
