Hi I am a 21 year old male in the London area. I
am completely new to the WAM scene. Just wanted to know if they were any fremales or couples in London who wabted to chat and maybe meet...
Meet?
There's a London WAM meet - just a pint and a chat - on the 28th of September - full details elsewhere on either this or the UMD (www.umd.net) messy forum.
Useful for making WAM contacts though if you want to get up to speed quicker.

It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

I'd already set the calendar so that members of UK Regional WAM area 6 have been getting reminders about this delivered to their inboxes. After all the recent ...er... 'discussions' in another thread, I would certainly hope that after the forthcoming one, they will next decide to meet on the first Saturday afternoon in January so that I can reset the calendar back to where it would have been and primarily so that there'll be no more 'discussions' about atire, as a Saturday daytime meeting would neatly sidestep the issue!

Would changing the day of the meet really change anything?
Not that it matters to me now, I can't go anyway.
But you know that they always do it on a Thursday, despite the regional groups. *shrug*
Anyway, insomniac rambling

I think so ... but changing the time to an afternoon would also matter. A Saturday afternoon would give people who work Mon - Fri the chance to travel there in the morning and back in the evening, making it feasible for those who might want to go but can't make a weekday evening in sufficient time, or who want to go on somewhere else in an evening.
The other useful aspect would be that by always setting the meeting to be a regular slot (first Sat afternoon in Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct for the South-east group, for example), people can easily work out which day to leave free in advance. Life is complicated enough. I'd rather apply a little logic to make it simpler than stumble along in permanent confusion!
Look at Easter vs Christmas for example. You can never remember when Easter is and always have to look it up but you always know when Christmas is as it's regular. (Thinks - oooh - it'll soon be here again! I think I'm due for a momentary 'Christmassy feeling' sometime soon.)

ironically its saturdays i did prefer to as i could also have time and make a weekend of it because i knew i could always go as laura then go clubbing, obviously thats changed now so future weekday meets would normally rule me out as going at all, its just that this one is or was great timing for me
i'm still going thur as its still gonna be a great meet
so yeah saturdays are the best day form the people that work
but it doesnt matter anymore

What I'm really saying, is that you know that unless other people in London have meets...then they won't change what they've done so far. They seem to prefer a Thursday, DESPITE protest from some of the people within the group, who still go anyway.
Although everyone else seems very appreciative of the system, you know that so far it simply hasn't taken on in London. More than likely because they were having the meets pre-regional groups... and then didn't want to be told when to meet.
It make's no difference to me, as I live here. I've only been to one London meet, and missed out on a Newcastle one because of money.
I'm just sort of pointing out how it is. One argument over dress code stuff will probably not change much.

Yes, this isn't a business schedule...
You have to organise things around when the members want to come not when you want to hold meetings to keep the forms looking nice!
The Thursday meets have been successful. Why change them to fit in with a calendar? If a weekend event kicks off as well, fine (I might actually be able to make one of those - though I can't guarantee it, even weekends are rarely free).

Why change something if it works, if it wasn't for the fact I am a man of lesuire at the mo. I too would probably find it hard to make the meets.
Unless Hayley was wearing a satin blouse, then I would turn up just so I could fantasise about flanning your breasts through the material.........
Major alert Andy is getting fruity in the middle of the afternon
quick pass the Coca Cola to calm me down..
regards
Andy
(is it me or is Coca Cola Zero crap????)

Its funny you should say about moving food about London, the first show we did with Carmel and Dave, we had to transport all the food ourselves, so we loaded up an intercity 125 from manchester (took over about a fifth of the carriage!!! with all the gunge.
When we got to euston we hailed a cab to great Ormond Street and the cab driver couldn't resit asking us what it was about, so we told him, he nearly dropped his false teeth!!!!
As for a tip when we arrived Carmel lent through the front window and flashed her tits!!!! Cabbie was still their when we left!!!!!!
