Yep, I'm on there now too.
It's a really great idea but the software that's driving it is really poorly executed. (I know it's 'beta' but even so.) The first time I tried, it crashed and returned a load of SQL database errors. The next time it worked but I now find that my first instance has created a version of me in the bizarrely named town of 'North' in South Carolina! (Imagine asking directions there!)
How crap is software that allows two instances of the same username to be created??? The snag is that I now can't login to the USA instance to remove it, as whenever I try, it dumps me straight into my Liverpool UK version. Oh well! Just don't expect any replies from the USA version of me as I can't see messages there. (Mind you, I probably won't be logging into it anyway so if you want to send me a message, use e-mail or Yahoo PM or whatever.)
wam map, idea for the staff

I agree with Claymore that even for a beta it needs some work doing! Sorry to those on "skinnyband", it is possible thats the reason you are having a few problems because I think the maps are quite big and because it uses all this new fangled technology it could cause some problems.
I think the "problem" with the multiple usernames is that you don't actually have to login/register to post a pin which is good but has this drawback.
Any how looks like it might be useful. Maybe a few people could put in some pins for good mudpits and WAM meet locations?
I think its possible to rename it to Splosh and change the url to have splosh instead of homemadewam, any one think this is a good idea or will it just confuse everyone?
