Brand new on http://www.messy-jessie.com:
I often get asked about how I get stuff out of my hair. It's quite simple folks, hot water, shampoo and lots of conditioner!
Messy fans tend to be cautious of certain substances, fearing they won't be able to wash them out. In this video, I demonstrate how the popular misconception of treacle being impossible to wash out is just that; a misconception.
I use 5 tins of thick, sticky black treacle in my hair, really making sure my head is covered. Once I am well and truly treacled up, I use the magic of hot water to melt away to gooey mess!! If you have any other messy problems that need solving, or similar concerns, let me know and I will see what I can do to make your messy experienes less stressful!!

Thank you for the very entertaining self help pictures. I too have often volunteered to try out messy things for people. No takers so far but I hope you get more enquiries. Paint is one that is always fun to play with. Have you tried gloss paint?

I've always wanted to play with emulsion paint. How easy is it to get out of hair and off skin?
I want to get messy and muddy

Emulsion paint should be pretty easy to get out as it is water based.

The messiest paint is kids poster paint. It is also the cleanest as it washes off quite. Well although red tens to give you a tan! Watch out with emulsion paint. Matt is okay but vinyl silk can be difficult to get off. My favourite is gloss as it carries with it a cleaning risk.

I am not sure about gloss paint... I have used emulsion though. And it does feel amazing, it's so thick and smooth!! But the smell can be quite intense and you don't want to leave it on your skin for too long as it may cause irritation. I use poster paint all the time as I use it to colour my gunge
It can stain the skin a bit, but when you shower as often as I do, it's not really a problem!!

Re: Treacle Shampoo: Do Not Fear Treacle!!
Sorry for the delay in replying but I have had a few busy weeks.
Firstly there are three pictures of me getting covered in matt emulsion paint. As you can see I get totally covered and all the clothes, shoes and wig washed completely clean with no problems at all.
The next photos were using real gloss paint which only washes out with chemical cleaners. I planned on trashing the skirt but got carried away and as you can see my skin got a good coating. in fact it didn't take too much cleaning off although I would keep it out of your hair. Once coated the clothes were destroyed.
Finally I tried the same gloss paint on a black velour suit but instead of destroying it I decided to try washing it. To my surprise it cleaned up quite easily.
As I am always happy to help sort things out if you have any things you would like me to try out let me know and I will try them out and report back. After all I would hate you to suffer!

@Messy Jessie: Glad to know it wasn't too hard to get out, might have to try that now.
I'm a guy with relatively short hair, so pretty easy to clean.
@messyalan: Those top three pics look awesome.
Must have been great fun.
