Not going to be the 1st to mention the c word (Christmas that is, blast done it now!) but i'm having a bash at entertaining with a candle light supper, before the big event. Here's the outfit chosen, hope it gets approval. Its a set menu and admittedly not very glamorous, but times are hard and its all my local supermarket had on special, so there!
Starter:-
Mushroom or tomato soup
Main course:-
sausage with beans
Vegetarian alternative
Spaghetti
Sweet:-
Fruits of the forest cheesecake
with a choice of double or squirty cream or custard
(no ice cream option due to risk of frost bite!)
All served with the Splosh twist, please let me know of your preference and quantities! Thank you

Dear Mrs Bouquet
How wonderful to hear of your proposed candlelight supper. I do hope you have a lovely time. I would make the following suggestions for meal preference and quantities:
Starter - Tomato soup. Smellier and much better at clothes staining than mushroom. (5 large tins)
Main - Sausage with beans. (1 bucket full)
Sweet - Fruit of the forest cheescake with custard. (1 large cheescake. Must be sat on prior to serving. 5 boxes of custard)
Yours

Well after all the Christmas rush, I finally got round to popping the film down to the chemist and got the photos developed. (yeah right!). Having got the menu sorted, all 5 courses, the 1st guest couldn't stay long and wanted a banana split as a starter, so trying to be the perfect host was only too happy to oblige........
