There was a line in an Ernie Pyle story about WWII combat that has occurred to me:

Damnit to hell.

may be a little while before details are available on how best to make a donation and who to, but updates will be made when it's all known (so I've been told)

It is really sad new about Bill. I heard about it last Saturday on twitter and did not believe it. This has been my 1st chance to log in here and it still saddens me, a huge loss to UK sploshing.

My thoughts go to his friends and family.

Such sad news. Bill's dedication to ensuring Splosh magazine catered to all wet and messy needs was unfaltering. I, like many others, was amazed to find my fetish was also many other people's too. The magazine (and subsequent website) allowed me to explore my fetish, to fully understand the elements that really turned me on.

I've no idea what originally spurned Sploshing as a fetish for Bill, but I'm sure as hell glad it did, and that he opened it up to a wider audience (male and female).

Sploshing forms a healthy part of my married sex life, and I will be forever grateful to Bill for his vision and determination to ensure Sploshing is enjoyed by all those who wanted to!

RIP Bill,

I had the great pleasure of meeting Bill at Splosh studios ( Hastings answer to Hollywood ) on two occasions . You know how you are nervous when coming face to face with someone for the very first time and you are a bag of nerves ? Now I think about it , that never happened when I met Bill . He immediately put me at ease and the whole episode was what it was meant to be . A great amount of fun . It is Bill i have to thank for finding out I was not on my own ( or quite as weird as I thought ) and for providing my fellow CD Sploshers and i with a venue once Wamdrogony closed its doors .

A total gentleman in every sense of the word . Great fun to talk to and an enormous loss . Rest in peace you good man .

I've only just seen the news. I've read all the tributes and can see that many people are grateful to Bill and are saddened by his passing. I never met Bill and until today didn't know that wasn't his real name. However he had a major effect on my life. Thanks Bill.

I have just come back from holiday and heard this awful sad news

Bill enriched our lives so much and I won't ever forget the hysterically funny and good-natured time I had at Splosh studio last year and in the pub with him after. He made me feel at ease and like I'd known him for years. The mark of a decent down-to-earth bloke.

R.I.P. dear Bill, you funny messy guy.
