Oh my god. Even seeing the post title I didn't think it would be that. Urgh. Don't know if it was related but he always played down his trips to the doctor.
You'll be missed. RIP.

Such sad news - a much loved chap who will be sorely missed. Only met him once at B/ham Splunch last year for a quick chat, but often chatted on facebook......hoping heaven (or wherever) has become a more silly, messy place.....RIP Bill xx

So sorry to hear this, and so sorry I never got to meet him.

The community has lost it's father, it's mentor and it's best friend.

A very, very sad day. To say he was an inspiration would be the greatest understatement.

RIP Bill.

Hello all, Been a while since I have been here and I am just very sad that it is for this reason.

As you have heard Bill sadly passed away. He was found last night in his home by a couple of his close friends.

Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced but I have been asked to let you all know the details when they are avaliable.

I knew Bill both professionally and as a very good friend and am very sad at his passing. There is a huge part of my life that was made much happier by being able to call him my friend. Thank you all for your kind words to his family and friends, I have passed these onto those that I can and hope that those I don't know so well are reading this as well.

What tragic news. I salute you for all you have achieved. I was lucky enough to meet him at the first Aquantics event (in 1989 I believe) and have met up with him on loads of occasions since. RIP my friend.

I don't post much anymore, preferring to lurk, but I had to post after seeing this.

I'm absolutely crushed. You were the founding father Bill, one of the most recognisable faces and names in the industry, and an inspiration to us all.

RIP Bill, the Splosh world will never be the same again :-(

Just unbelievable. Splosh was my induction to wam, long before I knew I wasn't alone in this fetish.

I was lucky enough to meet Bill, just the once, but I will never take back my comparing him to Stanley Kubrick :)

RIP Bill Shipton, you brought us all together like no-one else. We'll miss you.

Splosh was one of the first messy websites I found.
I loved all the work he has done over the years and
he has worked with some fantastic models over the
years as well. It's truly sad to hear of Bill's passing.

He will be greatly missed and remembered. My prays
are with his friends and family.
And Swing It!!!

Bill was one of the only mainstream people that encouraged tgirl's to embrace sploshing. without Bill its going to be a whole lot harder for us now. R.I.P Bill makes me feel like giving it all up :(

I don't post much on here these days, but lurk often.

This was not what I was expecting to read when I looked on here tonight.

R.I.P. Bill, you will be missed.
We'll have to drink our way out of this
