It saddens me greatly to report that Bill Shipton, the founder of this feast, died suddenly recently.

Further details, and news of the funeral arrangements, will hopefully follow in due course.

I'm too upset to think of anything witty or mucky to say.

This is so sad. Bill did more than anyone else to get me into splosh. I loved his sense of humour as well, and I love this forum. It has always been a friendly easy going place. I am only sorry I never met him
