Fun in the Slush

Postby messylou » 22 Jan 2013, 11:40

After a brief thaw I found a wheelbarrow full of freezing cold slush and a bucket of icy water . But was I brave enough ?

Excellent. Wish I could join you. I was hoping to get out in the ice and snow this weekend but it looks like there might be a thaw coming.

Not sure that I'd want the icy slush, but love the idea of sitting in a wheelbarrow of cold water....something on my list for the Spring, I think.

Why is it that I am not keen on cold weather but once I am dressed as a female I love wading into icy streams, rolling in the snow or crawling in the icy mud?

Easy ! It`s because you get such a buzz out of it . The adrenalin kicks in . Sploshing outside carries the risk of being discovered by the postman , a neighbour or whoever . Even if you have locked the gate ! So you don`t feel the cold . You just feel the buzz!

Wow! Ten out of ten for bravery. And ten out of ten for a great improvised wetting.

Just the inspiration I've needed because with all the rain we've had our local park is temptingly flooded .... be back later, probably totally soaked :D
