I'd like to announce the details of the next messy photography day at my studio, in Stockport. It will be on Saturday 24th November 10am till 4pm. Our model this time will be Axa Jay. I am sure that Axa needs little or no introduction, she is an established splosh model whose messy images can be seen on many WAM/Splosh websites.

While there may still be opportunities to shoot more more arty images type images, at Axa's request the emphasis of this workshop/event will be on splosh/WAM style images.

The event is open to all photographers. No experience of working in a studio is required all you need is a suitable DSLR or bridge camera.

Price : £85 for the day, and it includes lunch!

We still have some spaces left for the event...
A full day of Axa getting very messy... and all you need is a camera... preferably a DSLR or bridge camera. I'll provide you with all the training you need to get some really great splosh style images in a pro studio set up. All this for just £85. And I'll even throw in lunch too!

I think this is the fourth messy workshop this year, but it is the first where the emphasis has been towards splosh style images. The normal ones I run have a bit more emphasis towards art nude but using messy substances (although I usually finish the day by setting up a splosh style set up).

The trouble is numbers aren't that high so how often I will be able to run them next year I don't know. I have one final one planned for this year 8 Dec - with a greater emphasis towards the more arty images. You can book for that one here: http://bit.ly/QXZJw0

I had a fantastic day with Axa, Ian and the other "photographers" last Saturday. Axa was amazing and Ian and the studio was fantastic. If you are at all interested I would heartily recommend getting down there.

Hi All, not been on here for awhile, but I too attended the Splosh Shoot with Axa Jay at Ian's studio.

It was my second time at Ian's studio for a Splosh shoot and as previously Ian was very friendly and helpful in explaining the lighting set up and what we were trying to achieve.

Axa was an absolute STAR! she appeared to really enjoy her 'work' and was really prepared to get messy with out much encourage from the photographers! Axa was also very pleasant to talk to and I think this coupled with her enthusiasm for Sploshing has really come out in the photos.

Some of my results are show below. For those of you with eagle eyes you will see it says photos taken by Whitestar72. Yes, that is still me its just my user name on Fetlife as most of my photos go on there. So if you are a FL member feel free to pop over and have a look at some of my others.

Excellent stuff. Looks a lot of fun, and Axa is obviously an excellent model. I really hope these events can continue next year but I fully understand the financial aspect! Well done on the work so far.
