Sploshing CD's

Following on from Bill's offer of a joint party for us girls I wondered if there any 'girls' in the East Midlands who might want to meet for a vanilla drink somewhere in the East Midlands? This is not to take away from Bill's offer as we all need somewhere to get messy. This is more of a sounding out session to see who might want to go South for a session and what facilites, if any, there might be near us. I live between Grantham and Nottingham and can travel a reasonable way for a pint. I prefer lunchtimes on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays but can make an evening meet if you prefer. Realistically we aren't all going to meet at the same time or same place but a meet of even one to one would be fine. If it works we can all contact each other by email if we want to take things further.

I for one would love the chance to meet up with midland cd sploshers. It would be fantastic to chat about all sorts of stuff.

The chance of a good sploshing is a definite bonus and it would be good to find out what other cds enjoy.

If we could find an appropriate venue in the area, I am quite willing to help out with ideas and organising so don't fear that you will be left on your own if things do take off.

We could all meet at the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar, the next one is Sunday 19th August.

Nice relaxing place and a cafe / bar where we could meet and chat. CD/ TV friendly and a changing room / cloak room to get dressed when you get there if you so wish.
A hint to how relaxed and friendly this place is? An adult baby was walking around in a nappy and no one batted an eyelid.


Bill, ever thought of doing a demo there on the top floor or having a stand to sell your wares?
I don't mind giving you a hand as I live local and am always there anyway.

Whilst the idea of the Birmingham meet sounds good I was sort of looking for East Midlands meets. I know there are quite a few West Midlands 'girls' but I am sure there some this side of the country. Also I don't want to scare people away which I suggest just a pint and nothing more (well maybe a sandwich). Then, if we have any ideas things could be taken further.
Anyway, look forward to hearing from you.
