Hi NINA, I'd like to see the film that I saw you making, I think it was number one, but not sure. Don't know how much you want for it but if you let me know how much, I could leave cash with Mike if I leave before you get there.
p.s. I can only cope with DVDs or VHS tapes, not 8mm film at the moment.

Mike, I think the map given in this thread is confusing for folks arriving by train. Where is Temple Meads?, Victoria Street?, The River & bridge? Fortunately I know the way but some folks might not! I await your pithy response .

Richard, that map has only been provided on the last couple of meets to show the location of the car park; I have never included a map showing the walking route from Temple Meads station.

If the few train travellers would like one in future, I'm sure I can oblige; although I'm equally certain they can download one from Google Maps or Multimap.

I have walked it before (and got lost on the way lol) but i really would recommend a bus from the station. Grab the number 8 or 9 from outside Bristol Temple Meads. Ask for Rupert street, bus ride is about 5 minutes and does save your feet. Buses every 10 minutes. When you see the Avis and ncp car park your one stop away so look out to the left and you will see Christmas Street, so get off, cross to Quay Street and through the stone archway into Broad Street.

There's a cab rank at Temple Meads too, it's not far and shouldn't too much.

Eden and myself can't make it this time, as we're arriving back from holiday that day, but I'd like to thank Mike for his PM invite and annual event which is one of the things which spurred us into posting something for the first time in a while (see my other post)!
