Re: Birmingham Splunch - 18th Feb
Yesterday was an entertaining day, I decided to get properly into the WAM spirit by taking a lengthy detour around central Birmingham to find the venue in the rain! Really good turnout setting a new record for the munch. Loved the comic moment when the afternoon manager came over wondering if we were a booked group and if we were from a chocolate company - all thanks to Mordicus' top! Great to meet so many people again and meet many more people for the first time! It was great to catch up with Big Dave, and the chaps from MessyMayhem, meet Leon and Lisa Moomin and many many more - a few hours disappeared very quickly! My day didn't end there though, I headed back to London for a night at Club RUB a friendly fetish night in the city. While PVC, latex and leather dominate the outfits, it is very much a fetish dress code, whether that means you'd get in dripping in custard is another matter! As well as a bar and dancefloor, the venue also has a nice collection of dungeon equipment for some consentual play - indeed I was "borrowed" by a Domme to try some of it out. The thing that stands out is the variety of fetishes and yet how many crossovers there are - rubber, bondage and bdsm for example, and mess can easily be added too - after all locking someone in a pillory and messing them ticks at least two boxes. There's so many similarities too, the feel on the skin, the way it reflects the light, how it moves and of course, they all tease most if not all of the senses. Maybe one day Club rub will have some messy activities, although clean up would be tricky in the current venue [unless you fancy a quick run to the Thames!)

My first meet and what a great time meeting so many names from on here and UMD. Ok, living in Birmingham certainly helped, but thanks for Dids, Mike, Richard, Sploshguy and Splatter, Candy Custard and Lisa for making me so welcome. Sorry I couldn't say hello to everyone, but I must try and get to some other venues.
I want to get messy and muddy

Here's one of the group scenes outside the pub. I think the old man in the blue top wanted to remain anonymous so he turned his back to the camera, said his name was 'Bill' or something!
Bottoms Up!
Re: Birmingham Splunch - 18th Feb
Have just got home (Network Rail have dug up Kent today so had to come the long way round). A truly excellent afternoon and stay in Birmingham. As others have said, apologies if I didn't get to chat to everyone, even greater thanks/apologies to the people who bought me drinks and refused to let me reciprocate (or I simply loss track of). Hope I didn't bore people too much with Birmingham remeniscences and I hope the Chinese Quarter party found their food. I found a large Jamiesons in the hotel bar and then fell asleep. Will write a proper report at a later date. Truly epic event.

Was truly a great day out, meeting new faces and legends of the splosh world alike! Being my first splunch it has certainly set the bar high for all future meets...who knew you would all be so friendly and welcoming to the newbies! See you all next time!

Ah, I wasn't actually sure who the 'next' would be, it was more a figure of speech! But as Warrington isn't too far, its in the proverbial diary now!

Just an echo of what I said over on the umd thread for those of you who ain't read it over there...
Nasty, well done mate - that was unbelievable! Thanks a lot for the good organisation
Big thanks to Mike for acting as co-host and introducing people etc
Henry - Good work on the photo!
To everyone I talked to nice to see you again / meet you for the first time in person - It was good to put a few faces to names.
To everyone I didn't get to talk to or only got to talk with briefly - I'm very sorry, catch you at the next one - rest assured that it was nothing personal there was just so many of you buggers!
Hopefully I'll be able to stay a bit longer at the next one. Finally one request next time we get 49 Wammers together can we go to a pub where the windows open - it was blinking boiling in there!

And another message of well done to Nasty for an excellent afternoon/evening of good company and cheap beer. Oh and a good choice of Chinese restaurant! Good to catch up with "the old gits" and especially many new faces.

Re: Birmingham Splunch - 18th Feb
Well, what can I say - got home yesterday evening too knackered for words! Saturday was awesome, again gonna say BIIIG thanks to Nasty for making it such a fantastic success. Nice to see a few Splunch cherries popped (Bosunbob and my 2 mates catrinadarkangel and Daz to name a few), met legends Candy and some chap called Bill (seemed harmless enough). Sorry we missed the chinese but one of our party was a bit over-awed. Plus we combined the trip with a visit to the BBB (Birmingham Bizarre Bizarre) *propbably spelt wrong lol* to perv at kinky clothes etc. All in all a brill weekend

luv and pies
