After the success of my 5 foot deep tank of treacle session I want to go further and try marmite.
I am almost ready to start sessions but need help with camera quality, as you can tell from the picks my finepix camera is very poor at taking these sort of pictures, so any ideas on how to make it better, my last resort is to buy a new camera, any ideas would be very helpful!

Re: Some help with me 5 foot deep marmite session.
what sort of lighting have you got, better lighting greatly improves the cameras ability to see the object
as you mentioned to captures are poor so i cant tell the situation you are trying to capture, do you have a link to any good pics or pics of the area you are filming in
ie the room or location and how dark the area is you are trying to capture
really intreasting using that much marmite, i like marmite alot but its very strong.
looking foward to this session
btw what part of london are you in?

As for lighting, there are 4 60 wat lights on the ceeling! these are the best pcitures i have, i have 5 videos and all of the same quality, the room is the basment, so its pitch black anyway as the basment is the only room that has a wide open space and ideal now that i made a shower in there. As for the marmite session it wont be for about 3 weeks yet, realy want to get the lighting sorted so i can re-watch, sell and prove all my sessions!
Oh and i live in the Midlands now, should have changed it!

try changing the bulbs for flourecent tubes, i have a 6 foot high basement too and it also had 4 60 watt bulbs, makes a huge differance in general, i would also and probably more so suggest you get a 500watt halogen light, the type builders etc use, machine mart or wickes , b&q etc will have them
the 500w light will get very hot so be careful!
