Gross, Nasty Dare Ideas

Postby MillsApparatus » 22 Nov 2011, 08:04

Greetings! After putting together some dares for our sketch show, we've gotten requests to try something a lot grosser, smellier and overall nasty! (think Fear Factor, Wudja Cudja or I Bet You Will). So, my fiancee and I have come back to look for some suggestions!

She's a little nervous about trying something more on the disgusting line, but is brave enough to be willing to try! Our list is a little short (only have bacon on it from an IBYW stunt so far) so we thought you could help us out! Your suggestions in the past have been a HUGE help in planning our show. Once we start filming full episodes and launch our dedicated site, we will share the link with all the videos and galleries here, for free! (We do this for fun so there's no charge).

This time, we're pretty much open to anything (as long as the just of it maintains the mostly PG)! All ideas are welcome.

Hey,
How about doing a vid of your fiancee asking for the dares on youtube? Seeing and hearing more from her would inspire us to come up with better ideas.

We've gotten some suggestions from the preview group (all friends and family) that consist of: dog food bath, lard and getting skunked (she's actually not shy on the last one lol). She's a brave one. I'll have her post herself here after she sets up an account.

Haha, well now that I have my own account, you guys can ask me anything you'd like! Right now my webcam isn't working right (no sound and jumpy video) so I can't post to youtube and the camcorder is full of test files and other projects so it's not available.

We do have a TON of stuff planned, and right now it's a matter of previewing it with our own circle of friends, family etc. while looking for suggestions for new ideas. While most of the dares come from old Nick shows, we've recently gotten friends interested in having me try out some really different and gross stuff, probably because Fear Factor is coming back on the air in a week or so (lucky me hahaha!)

I LOVE getting messy with all sorts of stuff so it's not really a big deal, I can handle it (I'm a bit of a daredevil lol). I'm a little scared about trying something gross, but as long as I don't have to eat anything I think I'll be fine lol. So go ahead and ask me anything you'd like and don't be shy about making a suggestion since we'll review anything we get and then set up a sketch around it. The messier it is the better, and I don't mind getting really smelly at all since it can always wash out lol. :D

We look forward to your ideas <3 <3 <3

Maybe not as disgusting as dog food but could go for the "breakfast smoothie" over you.. Blend up some beans, bacon fat, old scrambled eggs, ketchup, toast and coffee grounds (lots of them). Optional throw in some room temp Greek yogurt for additional texture or as the topping. Jams/jellies as well.

Mushy peas, congealed gravy from the fridge, creamed corrn with an oil or cream based coleslaw would also make a pretty good slop.

What we've done already:

Just a few simple things like pies, cakes on each other, a few slimings, pretty basic and standard stuff just to find the best recipes and to make some test footage. The dog food bath will be a ton of bags of dry dog food soaked into a mush in water before I go in (haven't decided how yet lol), and then a possible shower of wet dog food on top of it.

Some of the stuff we have planned includes:

An oatmeal bath
A dive into a paddling pool filled with cakes and pastries
Having a bucket of mac and cheese shoved over my head
An A to Z session

The breakfast smoothie definitely sounds like it'd go over well lol.

Just based on the ones you've described, if you're looking for dares a bit more gross, maybe a gift card in a bucket of something like tuna or egg salad with extra mayo with a time limit and a forfeit if you can't find it. The dog food perhaps :)

How about bobbing for gift card in the tuna salad, you have 2 mins, no card, then you have to get into the wet dog food mush on all fours and roll around then do the wet over the head (optional shampoo) while sitting there and smiling and telling the audience how much you liked playing to lose ;)

Hard to pick between tuna and egg, so we'll probably end up doing both eventually lol. Since the dog food dare is also a separate one, we can do that one first then use it here as well if we have the budget at the time. I'm sure there'll be some sort of "consolidation prize" anyway lol.

We also have an idea for a manure bath. It won't be real, but just a bunch of muck made to look like it (gunge dyed brown and green, oatmeal, thickener), but I'll be acting as if it were the real deal lol. Any idea on how to make it more convincing without using the real thing?

Hmm, never tried that though oatmeal and choc pudding can look like mud so not a stretch. And to be fair, oats would be a natural part of manure anyways at least where horses are concerned :D

Cream of wheat/Grits texture might also be appropriate. If you wanted that kind of 'straw in it' look, maybe uncooked pasta like linguini.

We got the idea from WTF Downloads and their zoo slop portion of the A to Z series and they gave us some advice for making such a prop lol. I have no problem trying that out but I'd only go for the real thing if I got money out of it lol. Haven't figured out how I'm gonna try that one out yet, for most of the bath ones I'll just sink in but depending on any sketch that goes along with it I have to be a bit more creative.

We have decided to try out both the tuna and egg salad as well, probably use a similar format for each sketch too. The only difference will probably be the "punishment" at the end of each one, but probably just as nasty (for the egg salad, I'll probably get the whole thing dumped over me until I'm covered head to toe, or something worse if anyone can come up with an idea lol). I try to come up with different hairstyles for each one too to maximize the mess and create the best effect, have to look at those a bit more for that too just to get the best results. Not sure which would be worse, tuna or egg, but that's why there's both lol.

Have also thought of having me slosh through a bucket of pumpkin guts for a prize.

Pumpkin guts would be a good one. Pulped tomatoes, maybe cut with something like cottage cheese. Don't rule out the Campbell's style soup concentrates, just don't add the milk.

Only issue with pumpkins is most tend to have nothing inside them around here lol, maybe a handful tops.
