Hi Everyone
I have seen the above event advertised on UMD and was thinking about going along as it's close. But I wondered if anyone on here had been to one of their events before and what they thought of it.
Cheers
Phil

I'd also like to know if anyone has been to a SLOSH event before. Is it entirely 'innocent' slapstick or does it have a fetish element to it?

The visitors area of http://www.slosh.org.uk might give you an idea.

Re: S.L.O.S.H. Event Birmingham in September
Hi there,
I'm the one responsible for creating this particular event so I just thought I'd chip in and let you know what it is and what it isn't...
First of all SLOSH is a non-profit club for men with wet and messy slapstick interests, although it is being funded by SLOSH and arranged by its members it is not exclusively for members of SLOSH or in fact exclusively for men. This is not a typical SLOSH event, they are usually private to members only. This is not something that SLOSH has ever done before and is completely new terrain so experience of SLOSH events or looking at the pictures on the web-site isn't really going to tell you much.
The idea was born from the end of "Boogaloo Stu's Splosh-a-rama" held in Royal Vauxhall Tavern, it was felt that the loss of this night was a shame for the WaM community and that the gap could be filled. The show is a slapstick based event with lots of messy games and a few slapstick routines, anyone who wishes to participate as a volunteer during the night will be given opportunity to do so. There will be no nudity or sex during the evening, the venue license doesn't permit it and the goal in the evening is light humor not a sex show.
There will be no bias towards men or women who wish to participate as both are most welcome to attend the evening. The event won't make a profit so you're not lining the pockets of any particular person, club or business. As I said above, this is an experiment and I obviously want it to be a success. The only way it will be is if we get a good crowd of people in on the night who are up for a good laugh - maybe at the slight expense of others
We will provide overalls or t-shirts and shorts for anyone wishing to participate (and don't have a change of clothes) as well as a warm shower to help clean off.
If you have any questions about the evening please get in touch, either e-mail webmaster@slosh.org.uk or drop a message on here.
I sincerely look forward to being able to see and meet as many of you on the night as possible and I hope that the event will live up to expectations.
Details & ticket booking is available via http://www.slosh.org.uk/welly

Sorry if we may have accidentally misled anyone. I did suggest to SLOSH on Facebook that they put an ad here but none was forthcoming so we did our best based on not much knowledge. Thank you for filling us in. It sounds like a fun event for all.

Hi Bill, ever so sorry never saw your message on facebook. Fortunately one of your other members alerted me that a thread had been started here so that's why I popped along. Hope to see you there if you can make it

I'm a possible-leaning-towards-probable on this event but am iffy about staying late as I have something on on the next day.

We're aiming to get the show rolling at 8pm and it'll consist of two halves of 45mins each, with a 30min interval. Allowing for 30min over-run I reckon it'll be finished by 10:30pm. Hope you're able to make it.

Thanks for the info, sounds good to me. Hopefully, I will be able to make it, but will just pay on the door. And yes, I am up for a good gunging, especially if it delivered by Jessie.
