Yep ....its even better than the first mud meet, lovely gooey mud at least 3/4 foot deep maybe deeper.......did i have fun :twisted:

Anybody who doesnt come to this one must be bonkers.

(Old) newbie here, see my old posts for a quick update. Thought I had someone who wanted to share sploshing with me, turns out I don't...Quite fancy the idea of some harmless mudding fun to take my mind off things. Can you pencil me in as a maybe?

Hi I am new to the site but have been reading for a while, I would love to come to this event. I have been sploshing for a few years with gunge and food (mainly custard) but never done a group event.

I'm only down the road from Braintree so it is perfect for me!

Ah crap - once again my wife has ruined my plans. we have friends staying that weekend, and so dont think going mudding will be allowed!

Hi just one week to go now untill the Essex mud meet.
The meet from 4pm on the 27th and from 12pm on the 28th ( Meeting at the pub befor going to the mud pits )
Am planning on getting to the pits by 1pm and expect the mud fun to go on untill 4 to 5pm or later if you want to lol
Don't forget we will meet at the pub on the Saturday from 4pm and then going next door around 8pm ish for a meal that last time went on untill gone midnight.
If you have any other questions please get back to me asap.

Ps Don't forget to look for the yelloy atlas of the UK on our table so you don't go off chatting to someone from the caravan club lol

Hi all,
Just to update you all, Its just one week untill the mud session meet and thought it would be a good idea to pop over to the pits just to see everything is ok.
I was only planning on looking but the mud looked so good in the end there was no choice for me but to get in and have a good wallow.
well 3 hours later I have to say the mud is better than ever, There are 4 pits to play in and all are very diffrent and I just hade to get in them all lol

I even found Chantelle's wedding dress in one of the pits from her last shoot lol
