Chat, flirt and fantasise about everything wet and messy

Yes, I think there is a very strong contingent in the North West. Could I draw your attention to Area No 2 of the UK Regional WAM Groups which covers this area. The aim is to get people together to discuss WAM in a friendly pub once every 3 months (like the South-east group does). We nearly made it this month but so many people e-mailed to say they wanted to attend but were on hols that it got postponed to the next one. Hopefully, one day, we'll all get to meet each other and chat face to face!

meets

Postby andy250 » 29 Jul 2006, 19:24

Meets are ok, if something comes out of them, I have spent many an hour talking too people in pubs or events going on about sploshing (can't use wam cos Bill says it a no, no!!! only kidding) and yet it is still the same people who get together with me time after time.

I don't mind going to meets if something going happen in the future.

I have the same outlook as Bill where this is concered I'll meet if you want arrange something, if you want a pint I'll meet you in the Gatehouse round the corner from me.

regards

LoL! Oh dear .... I think I do too many presentations at work!

No, Nothing as yet from Northern Ireland to suit you. Having said that, it's probably suffering from the usual catch 22. i.e. people will often only join something when it appears to be already successful. Of course, it won't be, until those people have joined! So you all know what to do! .... :-)

Andy: Bear in mind what has come out of the London meets. There's never any harm in people getting together to chat about Sploshing even if it doesn't result in a specific session. Much useful information can be exchanged (locations, substances, clothing suggestions etc) and, at worst, you can have a convivial afternoon in the pub with like-minded people.

At the previous North-west meeting a couple of years ago, Wamadeus and I exchanged all sorts of interesting and useful suggestions - it was well worth it.

Mudbath: Hopefully, the next one in a couple of months will go ahead. If you're only 15 mins away, it would be great to see you there.

Great to see the fine sploshing tradition being upheld in the North West!!!

As a West Lancs bloke who has resided in the 'Pool and frequented (and still do one way or another) the likes of Manchester, Chester and Warrington (I know Warrington very well incidentally. Mr Smiths (it wasn't a bad club once you know!), Fiddlers Ferry, The Golden Square, Sankey Valley Park, Winwick Hospital! Ah the memories! - ahem... sorry!) its great to see a fine array of glittering splosh talent.

Perhaps a North v South Splosh Off is in order!!!

I'll get the pies...

I don't think I've ever moaned about meeting anyone in a pub - whether anything comes of it or not. For many people new to the scene it is a vital first step and can be a lot of fun. And, of course, there's the beer!

Possibly are! Myself and my good lady wife live not a million miles away from you.

Our interests are gunging, playing in mud and water.

Wonder how many more are lurking?
