Andy and the team.

Last time we managed to take over an alcove just inside the door off silver street, hoping to nab that again, will try and be there early to grab it. If not just have a wander round it should be pretty obvious who we are.

We really do wish everyone all the best for this. I'm sorry that shortage of time (and cash!) and acting as part-time carer for my Mum means I can't make it. Pity. Haven't been to Leicester for years. Have fun!

Anyone else? Should be at least half a dozen of us, maybe as many as a dozen and a half if all the people who are maybes make it.

In case people are still worried who we are, I'll leave a book on the table (moxyland).

Thanks for a good meet and a good time. It was great to see some fresh faces and renew some old acquaintances.
Roll on the next - maybe in Birmingham?

Now I'd have to go to a Birmingham one. I lived there for eight years and haven't been back since the reconstruction.

Just in case anyone's wondering Warrington will be the usual 3rd Saturday in October (15th, I think). We've got a new venue lined up as the existing one has got very tatty in the last year with consequent decline in the quality of clientèle too. The new place is nice and open and airy but with space for us to huddle in areas if we want to. More details nearer the time.

Re: Leicester Splunch Sat 16th July
Wish I could have been there, as I'm an easy distance from Leicester. As it was, I had to go to a w/e conference for work, near Southampton. Exceedingly boring, very little use for the real world, and just enabled us to tick the little boxes to show that we'd done what we're supposed to do to improve ourselves! And it rained.
