Re: Sloppy Slapstick Two
Speaking personally I am much more interested/amused etc by the clips in this from films and TV than the usual WAM producer ones. A well-edited compilation of pies from TV and cinema set to music would be a lot of fun.
Not that I have any problem with WAM producer clips or your compilation of both those and TV ones.

I tend to agree with Bill but appreciate you compiling, and posting on here.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I agree with Bill about clips from films and TV.
These first two attempts are not exactly great but even Spielberg had to start somewhere.
I'll have another bash at producing a better complination of film clips but where do I get my music (free) from and what tunes/songs would you suggest to accompany the clip?

While I somewhat agree with Malc and Bill, it's still nice to see a few blast from the past professional shots in there too, esepcially from scenes I haven't seen in years
Where was the scene from at 2:40?

Frankly since you are not using the films commercially (ie just for Youtube) you can use any music you like. Strictly speaking it is breaking copyright BUT there are literally thousands (maybe millions) of people doing everything from miming to pop hits to using it as backing music for just about anything on there. So choose what you like. If you want to set yourself the challenge of cutting it to the music (so each scene ends 'on the beat') pick something that reflects the length of your clips (in this case fairly fast paced). Or be less ambitious and choose music that is appropriate and just runs in the background - anyone else remember Tiswas taking Laurel & Hardy's famous pie fight Battle of the Century and cutting it to "One for you, One for Me"?
And I enjoyed both the first two - a lot better than some of the shit on Youtube.

And to think I've got this far without mentioning our very own Pie Ballet!!
Incidentally our film 20 Things Thrown in Tigerr's Face got thrown off Facebook but a US TV show that featured a heavily edited form is still available. Strangely I rather like their treatment of it...
Sorry! Breaking my own 'rule' about using WAM professional clips...
