Maybe one of the WAM producers could find a lookie-likey and get them to do a session - The Daily Tory has this story on its web site about the top twenty Wills n Kate look-a-likes:

osbaldeston wrote:That esteemed chronicler of Royal events, ZOO magazine (is this right? - Ed), has used Katie Green as a Kate Middleton lookalike this week. So I think I know which Splosh download I shall be revisiting tonight.....

Wow - yes have the download - except Katie is much more pretty and for what it is worth I think Wills is "a decent chap" but Kate? Those eyes; I've been out with girls who had that look. Can't trust them - I think she and her family are gold diggers - but I do wish them well.

I did'nt watch the wedding cos they did'nt come to mine and I will never meet them anyway - Mr J Carr

BTW - only saw a short clip of the wedding on Sky News but the vows... when the Arch Bish get to the bit do you take ... for richer or POORER ! - WTF

I've seen some pictures and whoever the chief bridesmaid was, definitely deserves a comprehensive sploshing. That's the dress everyone should have been talking about! Phwoooorrrr!! After a comprehensive coating and splattering with something sloppy, she definitely deserved a good seeing to, I thought!

I deliberately got up early yesterday morning to do what I had planned all day- go out in the countryside and keep well away from any where flying a union flag. I refused to turn on the TV, radio or look at any newspapers as I cannot stand anything to do with the royals so I enjoyed my day of peace away from it all.
Cromwell had the right idea in my opinion.

I took advantage of the empty streets to take lots of rubbish to the tip in preparation for my forthcoming house move.

I may be a loyal Commonwealth subject with the Queen as our head of state technically, and I'll tell you the election here is the reason why I'm glad she is and not some idiot other ppl voted for.

I'm only commenting now because enough stuff has shown up in the corner of my eye over the past few days that I know about as much as I ever cared to know. Good luck to them etc, but really not exactly a priority for me to get up early on Friday to see it before going to work, or missing work for it. I suppose if some bunting and ostentatious displays of gilt and wealth makes some ppl happy so be it.

This was amusing though, info on "Operation: Pumpkin". In case she had tried to bolt :D

Well i thought this was a splosh/wam orientated site, but it seems to be turning into another facebook style whinging/bitching site, like a large percentage of society today. Why cant people just be happy that 2 people are getting married?

Well, Bill, as the OP, did start it off as being an "OT" thread, and there is usually very little here which is not directly or indirectly wam orientated.

Most people (even many cynics), like myself, are happy about Wills and Kate getting married...as we are for any couple starting off....and wish them all the best as individuals and a couple. The whinging and criticism comes when people see all the smug hangers-on, 5th grade celebrities, money-grabbers and all the rest. As kids, some of us were brought up to see royalty, politicians, clergymen and celebrities as "important people", and it then makes you even more p'd off as you grow up and eventually realise what a load of freeloaders, shysters, snobs and self-servers most of them are.

David Beckham looked incredibly fit, that was the only part worth watching as far as I am concerned. Other than that I used it as a chance to go to Clarkes to measure my little boys feet and buy my youngest his first ever pair of shoes. Anyone who has kids will know that trying to do this on any normal day will take hours. Clarkes is the busiest shop I have ever been to in my entire life!

Hastings branch of Clarkes has closed to become a Costa Coffee Shop which probably says about our residents' opinions on the merits of good footwear versus caffeine

Yeah right!
Nearly 6000 topics, at least 98% messy and we are turning into fucking Facebook! Who's being the whinger/bitcher here? I think I know.

I am told Mouse was on Come Dine with Me tonight. Sadly I was out doing a pub quiz with Team Splosh (which we won, naturally) and missed it. Hopefully it will turn up on various options for repeats ie 4OD

And I have a PM that suggests Hayley has scared someone else! Believe me, she has scared me a lot over the years.
