don't ask the forum!
Whilst the crashing seems to have stopped (touching a veritable rain forest of wood), the time on the forum is completely wrong! For some reason the Greenwich meantime setting is two hours out. I have amended it but may have got it wrong so this is an experiment for my benefit.
At the third stroke, the time according to my watch is 16.25. In an hour we will find out what the forum calls it!

Re: If you want to know the time...
When I was logged out, I had UTC - 2 hours
When I logged in, I got UTC + 2 hours
Going to board preferences and changing my timezone to GMT + DST has set it back to normal
Fun fact: UTC is adjusted by leap seconds to account for the earth's slowing rotation
Edit: My time zone was set to North Africa for some reason before I changed it back to GMT

Re: If you want to know the time...
Bill, Bill, Bill, what have you done?!
This was kind of my fault, when we were on the previous server the clock on that was 2 hours out so I had to alter the board settings to reflect that. Clearly this server is correct so I can set it to the proper time zone! Let me know if it's screwy now.

Seems to be correct by Southampton time; don't know about that funny GMT.
Bottoms Up!
Re: If you want to know the time...
After I altered it, the post I made came up as being the right time (16.25). Let's see what happens now you've altered it back!! Message timed at 21.15.
