Unfortunately Mike can't read the Forum (or any online stuff) at the moment ; there is no internet access for patients in the hospital!.

When he gets out he will, no doubt, read what we have been saying about him so watch out for some explosive and obscene language!

Have an update that our dear Mike has to have a double heart bypass this Wednesday (edited as had got that wrong, but it'sthis Wednesday)

He is such a trooper I am sure he will be fine, but there is a three month recovery period after this.

Thanks for keeping us updated, Candy. Hope that means the Bristol Munch is still doable even if somebody else has to take it on.

No problem Bill. I hope he will still manage it but if not I'm sure someone will be able to on his behalf. I would do but it probably needs someone more local if it comes to it. Ringing him in about 20 mins when visitng hours are done and will keep in touch x

Well have just spoken to Mike, he is ok bless him but very bored in hospital

The double heart bypass op is this Wednesday, and it's looking like he will be in hosptal for at least another month, and have another 3 months recovery at home after that

He says thank you for the good wishes and that he will be back posting as soon as he can when back at home,but he has no access to internet at all in the hospital. I have told him about this thread though and the many people missing him and wishing him well.
