Trying new substances

Postby Cake Battered » 25 Nov 2010, 20:08

I've always gone for sweet foodstuffs when sploshing myself. I really like stuff like custard, chocolate sauce, and absolutely love porridge! However, inspired by jo_yo's "I'm such a messy eater" thread, I've got two tins of baked beans waiting for me in the kitchen along with... a big tub of gravy. I've never sploshed with the stuff before, and I'm still not sure if I'm going to, but the idea of using something new is rather exciting. I've got an old white T-shirt ready that I think would look much better in brown.

Anyway, it got me wondering if any of you have ever tried a new substance they ended up regretting, or even being surprised you liked? I'm not sure what category this gravy's going to fall into.

I emptied out everything sloppy I had in my cupboards on one occasion, the jar of curry sauce I regretted since the smell was a bit hard to get rid of

Yes, I have tried various substances before, including gravy.
A word of advice here-it stains white material, and is very slippery in a bath or shower base ( I had the bruises to prove it!).
Not saying anything else on this substance as you will have to try it and see what you think--oh, and make sure it has cooled if you are using the granules type that you mix with hot water, or it burns like hell!!!
I once used a pink marker dye designed for pigs and sheep, after being told that it washes away with warm soapy water, only to discover that it didn't. The results were posted on this forum a couple of years ago.
Again on another occasion I used some out of date foreign spaghetti sauce mix, it smelled awful and stained everything orange-yuk. BTW, the smell had nothing to do with it being out of date.
Will see if I can find some of my gravy pics, and post them here.

Remember to post your pics as well

Pink dye must have been pretty spectacular. That would have taken some explaining!

I wish I could take pics, but I haven't got anything to take the with that wouldn't get ruined. :( The gravy's cooled nicely now though, so its time may have come. Here I go!

Well, that was rather fun.

Baked beans were actually the first things I ever wammed with, but it's been a while since I last used them. I poured a tin down my shirt collar, and it felt amazing as they slowly slid down my chest, until I let them find a home inside my boxers. I did the same down the back with another tin, before tipping the third straight over my head.

Next it was time for the gravy. I'd made it quite thick, so it was a bit like wamming with smelly, brown custard. Luckily it felt better than it smelt! I poured a bit down the front of my shirt to start with, and then just poured the rest of the tub over my head. It really did feel great as it found its way down, and I made sure to rub it all over that white shirt, which was unrecognisable by this point. Peeling it off felt rather good, but then I tried something else I've never done before. I used it to mop up all the gravy that had been left in the tub, and along with all the beans and gravy from the bath, and then put it back on! I've got to try that with porridge.

Anyway, gravy felt great, but I think I'll stick to sweet stuff from now on. I like my gunge to smell good as well as feel good. :)

Yes I thought that when I used it, it was fun to use and felt good but I wouldn't make a habit of it. It does leave a smell in the air and a greasy residue that can be a pain to clean up, but on the whole it isn't the worst substance to use.
As promised, here is a picture from a gravy session I had a couple of years ago.

This shirt had some abuse over its lifetime, the gravy left stains on it but they were not to noticeable, and a session in some mud stained it so bad they hid the gravy stains!
