Easy Access North-west Meet (Warrington), Sat 16th Oct. 2010
Re: Easy Access North-west Meet (Warrington), Sat 16th Oct.
We'll keep a seat warm for you next year Bill. Incidentally RubberDavey & T recommended the local hotel in the Village chain but poss too expensive for one. (I think he said £60/room but very nice and included breakfast and access to everything available in the hotel.) For one person/room, the local Travelodge plus greasy spoon may well still be more appealing from a financial point of view!

Pretty much. I decided to go for one I hadn't tried last time and it turned out that they'd run out of that so I was back on the lemon cheesecake. They didn't provide the sharp lemon cream sauce with it this time so it was a touch drier than last time but a couple of scoops of ice cream with it made up for that and still gorgeous . Very yummy!

Had a really great time - shame ian and Gail (?) couldnt stay, was really nice to see you (too see you, nice) desserts were lovely, though have to agree with claymore, they were missing that liitle bit of lemon sauce he he! Think we should patent the "I-Tapas" app - one better than the now legendary spreadsheet (again a brill Claymore idea). Only thing that spoiled the tapas was the bloody loud singer (sorry, pardon, you what?!!) To round the day of nicely I even just timed it for train home from Warrington, so didnt have to wait - woo! Oh, and just an afterword - nice to see a few more faces - could be even more next time????? C U all soon
luv and pies
