There are some pubs near Richmond that flood like that, have been past a few times at high tide.

there are a few pubs on the bank near hammersmith bridge that at low tide have great mud oppertunities, i doubt they would flood at high tide as they are higher up but there are various ways down to the mud

hmmm, a meet at the pub for a few drinks, tide goes out, go get a bit muddy, tide comes in, wash off and back for some more drinks, the mud is about ankle deep along the bank and knee deep a bit further around so would make a viable little wander without getting overly muddy

does anyone know of any pubs along the thames that activly have mud events or such?

just seen some more pubs along the thames, alot of them get flooded up to the tops of the tables
now that sounds like a great venue for a game of dare, see who can sit out the tide without moving LOL

One of my first 'sploshy' experiences was jumping in the Thames fully clothed with my girlfriend at the time (a lady called Elaine) just by the (appropriately named) Staines bridge. We were about 16. We then staggered into the Swan pub on the riverbank soaking wet and changed in the toilet. Elaine, a well endowed blonde, got a very good reception as I recall.

That is the very same Swan Hotel! Only makes a very brief appearance but that's it alright. By the way Mr G, Staines is in Middlesex or Surrey (it's been in both) NOT Berkshire as he claims later in the film.

Ali was wrong about a lot of things anyway...

Except his taste in cars - the Renault 5 GT Turbo in the film was done by Pimp My Ride UK's Jamie Shaw at Carisma (now Dragon autosport) in my home town Colchester!!!
