I might have to have an each way bet, like £50 says you won't do it! (think about it logically, you can't lose!) - pm me for an explanation  .

In case that wasn't clear, my donation has already gone into the fund; if Nina completes the run I'll double it but if she doesn't finish I won't.
I challenge everyone else to do the same. Make a donation for a start then double it for a finish!

You might be on to a winner there Richard as a week ago while training up the gym for my run I hurt my knee and had to stop. That night I was in a lot of pain but over the next few days it went so yesterday I went back to the gym wearing a leg support but only managed 4K before I had to stop again as my knee was killing me. I think I'm going to have to visit my doctors to see what's wrng with it.

I will do my run though even if I'm in agnoy and on my hands and knees. Sorry Richard and thanks for offering to double your already kind donation!! :D

Even though I've passed my £1000 target if anyone else wants to donate for cancer research please click my link and do so. It means so much to me and many other people.

Thank you.

Ouch.. overtraining injuries. You need to be careful, this really isn't worth buggering your knee up permanently for.

There's still a few weeks to go before the race, so right now I'd be looking at rehabilitating that injury on an easier schedule - trying to run distances on it is a bad idea, your body is telling you to ease off a bit so listen. Give it a chance to heal up a bit, take some supplements (glucosamine will work wonders) and you'll have a far better chance of making it to raceday.

There are other ways to keep the cardio going in the meantime - can you swim?

It's less than two weeks to my run and I'm not cycling once a day for about an hour. I haven't tried running for a bit as letting my knee recover but will tomorrow. As far as raising money goes I'm over £1300 now so there's a chance I'll make £1500 because I can still collect along time after I've done my run. If anyone wants to give anything please click my link below.

Oh and Richard do I have to run with beans down my knickers to get an extra £50 or just run? It looks like the beans being put in maybe filmed if I have to have them with me on my run.

It's this sunday morning at 11.00am

This is the postcode BS41 9JN for anyone who wants to come along and give me some support.

BTW anyone can still donate and sponsor me by clicking my link up to and after the run even. So please do if you can as I'm just short of £1400 so it would be nice to get there or even up to £1500.

Thanks for all your support and donations so far too.

Oh not sure about the beans but will bring some and see on the day

Well tomorrow's the big day and I'm resting my knee and catching up on everything before my run. I have been doing a bit of training as Nina(see pics taken before I got all sweaty) on my friends crosstrainer though yesterday but don't want to push myself and risk injury so close to the day.

Oh I may not do the beans down my knickerrs but will bring a tin in case anyone turns up from here wanting to see me run with the beans as i hate to disappoint anyone

If anyones just reading this for the first tme please try and donate and even though my run is tomorrow morning you can still donate for quite some time after by clicking my link.

Yes it's over

I ran it in a slightly disapointing 1 hour 1 minute(as I know I could have ran under an hour easy if I'd started at a better pace) but at least I made it round. My sponsorship page stays open though so I really want to reach £1500 before it closes so if anyone hasn't donated you still can just click my link below.

Thankyou also to anyone who sponsored me

Just thought I'd share a few pics with you and thank Richard who gave an extra £50 because I ran the 10K on top of the £50 he'd already given!! Thank you Richard and anyone else who has donated.

If you look close you can see a whole tin of beans down my knickers.
