Arf! Hoist with my own petard! :-) No, strangely enough, the one who bolted after I told her about my kinks (after she'd told me how uncontrollably horny it used to make her to dress her ex in her undies and how she once loved wading about in thigh-deep mud at the bottom of a lock being dredged was actually quite geeky herself. Geeky but sadly not as kinky as I thought! (Boy did I misread that, big style, as they say! ... but then again, if any of you had met a girl who'd told you that, I bet you'd have made the same judgment about her level of kinkability.)

Thanks for all the responses. I haven't said anything about it to him, and I can see why some of you say to not tell him. But wouldn't you be happy if your gf/wife found out about this "interest" of yours and did not mind, no matter how she found out? Honestly I feel bad that he feels the need to hide this from me, while it might not be my thing it doesn't change my view of him at all and I want him to know that, it's OK and I still love him. That's why I'm leaning towards telling him.

I've looked at some of this stuff on Youtube and I admit that I can see the fun aspect of it. The sexual aspect of it I don't get and maybe I never will. I definitely prefer when the girl getting messy is fully-dressed, and I think it is funnier when she is well-dressed, same thing with guys it is funny to see them get messy wearing a suit. The whole idea of it happening to me doesn't thrill me but I would try it for my BF if he wanted to (well I'm sure he would, lol :P). Although it's kind of weird, the idea of getting messy while nicely dressed sort of appeals to me, but I don't know if I could find it funny/enjoy it when I'm thinking about how expensive clothes are. The whole "practical" side of getting messy and the realities of ruined clothes and a big clean-up get in the way of how fun it looks on video, when someone else is doing it and has to deal with all that crap when the video is over, not me.

Anyway - thanks so far.

If I might add a little bit to the good advice to be found here already . . .

. . . perhaps if you were inclined to try it, I am sure broaching the idea is difficult but I bet he would like to be able to share if he knew how to do it safely.

I wonder if you initiated it would break the ice, nothing too grand but maybe when sharing a cream cake a gentle dollop of the cream/icing plopped on his nose would be an interesting interesting to guage his response. Especially if you found it funny anyway . . . I mean, who doesn't look hillarious with a dollop of fresh cream on thier nose in an otherwise normal circumstance !

I only mention something like this because it doesn't have to be large scale, not at first at least ! It might just be enough to start the conversational ball rolling ... still I am sure you can think of something suitable along those lines if that's the way you are thinking. As for the clothes, they dont have to be brand new, old ones will do or just some really cheap new ones perhaps.

It's great that you are taking an interest and wanting to find out more, regardless of how you found out. I might not mention how you found out, hopefully this will prompt him to spill the beans, metaphorically speaking and yes, the pun was quite deliberate !

Good luck with everything, I am sure it will be fine !

I like seeing prim and proper ladies taken down a peg or 2
Is that sexist?
I don't mind
They can return the favor to me if they like.

It's comedy - as someone else just said. It's a 'relief' from the tensions in life. Other folk drive fast cars or drink.
I prefer a custard pie meself!
I think sex is better than logic
but I can't prove it.

a big messy session is a big headache to clean up after for sure, plus, once you have started cleaning up you just want to dive back in !!

two ways to really avoid a big clean up,
1, have your messy fun in the bath/shower or wet room so everything is hose down
2, do it outdoors in a secluded place or park at night when no one is around.
pick a park with a lake or pond and then you only walk away wet after the session.
as for clothes the mostly wash out fine, depending on what you use of course
shoes survive most of the time with indoor wam as they don't really get walked about for long distance soaking wet, which is what does most of the damage, satin ones tend to die when they hear the food being prepared or at the sound of a water droplet LOL
i have some pairs of heels that just survive time and time again, through messy custard sessions indoor and out, long soggy walks in the rain and through the thames mud, danm bullet proof, and sexy too
then you get a pair that can die on a wet test!

If you really want to talk about, then do, especially if you want to share it with him to some degree (even just watching some videos together or talking about it). Just remember that it might not be something he's shared with anyone before, and might well quite embarrassed about the whole thing. You know him better than any of us and how he's likely to react, so really, it's totally your call.

To be honest, the fact that you've come on here to ask about it, and looked at some of it on youtube before deciding how you feel bodes well for your Mr. As for worrying about the clothes, don't worry too much. Don't use anything you couldn't bare to lose just to be safe, but we've never lost anything because it couldn't be cleaned up. Best thing to do is just shower in the clothes to get most of it out, then the washing machine will do the rest.

As for clean up, clean up does suck, but as other people have suggested, you can always try in the bath the first few times then everything can just be rinsed away. I can safely say that every clean-up I've done has been worth it!

You're most welcome, and good luck, if you do decide to go ahead and discuss it :) Just be gentle, because I know I found it hard as hell to talk about the first time.

I'm jon42's missus - I did NOT see the appeal of it at first, and I will still freely admit that while I love getting messy and it's good fun, the vast majority of its sexual element comes from seeing him happy, horny and satisfied.!

We've only ever ruined one thing, and that was a pair of boots (bloody expensive, gorgeous boots) because we didn't let them dry properly and they went all mouldy. Most other things will come out really well - anything that is sugar based will just dissolve in hot water, you just have to watch for staining. If you want to buy clothes for it, I got an awesome sexy suit in Primark for less than fifteen quid, and then I've got stuff like Karen Millen shirts for cheap on eBay. Also, with all the cleaning up, if he really wants to do it, he cleans up, teehee :P
