I have always gunged with sweet things like custard, jam, treacle and cream so thought I would try something different.
I only used 6 tins of mussy peas which really wasn't enough.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions what I could use for my next session that can be purchased easily in bulk without raising too many eyebrows?
Look forward to your comments/ideas.

How about "slip"....that's the very runny clay which they use to pour into moulds to make china pots and figurines. Basically just ordinary pottery clay with lots of water added. (Memories of a former girlfriend in Stoke-on-Trent, but that's another story.
