Love It!

Postby slimeysophie » 23 Mar 2010, 18:40

So, im on holiday at my nan's in Blackburn at the mo and i was bored out of my mind (we went to Bolton for lunch and my Nan was shattered) so, with all the energy I have, I walked to the shop to get a girly, gossip magazine.
Looking along the shelf there was the usual...Closer, Reveal, Love It, Heat, Now etc... I picked up Closer until my eyes caught the word 'sploshing'!

I saw it on the front cover of Love It so straight away picked it up and went home to read it (yes, i did pay for it first).

It is not an anti article and says the couple were inspired by 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl'. Blah blah blah, guy has nut allergy...trifle had nuts on...he goes into shock and lives. They have said they will try it again though so all is good!

Anyhoo...if your interested...it's a good article for awareness for sploshing! Woooo!

Back into the shadows for me now x

You know, there's so many ways you could read that.

1. Yes, Bolton has really declined over the last few years or

2. Good heavens - I didn't realise your nan was made of China. I'm terribly sorry I knocked her. Let me help you pick up the broken pieces and you can glue her together again.

etc. :-)

Good news about the article being positive. Were there any pics or just a text article?

My mate jenny told me about it - being a reader of all things cheesy. Glad it ended positively even if they nearly died through sploshing (phew! no legal proceedings).

But plenty of trifle on the nuts? :)

You set them up, I'll knock them down....

Worth a read sometimes these inane magazines. Theres usually some hanging about at work, and I sometimes scan them for a laugh, you know, " we share a feeder" " my dog ate my boyfriend's knob" that kind of thing. So ludicrous they are unintentionally funny, a bit like The Daily Mail I suppose.... :!:
