Why do so few of us girls seem to post comments and pictures? Are we too embarrassed or shy to admit we enjoy wam?

OMG, Lorna, I've been on less than 2 weeks, and I'm worried I've been hogging the bandwith with all my comments. (Or just simply boring everyone.) And I'm toying with the idea of posting some of the results of the major wamming sessions I'm planning to do exactly 4 weeks from tomorrow. If I can get the courage to do something like that. At least the pictures where my face is completely unrecognizable. Or, at the very least, describe it in detail in the story-telling part of the forum.

IMHO, older girls are usually the friendliest, funiest and most mature to be with! They've nothing to prove and can just get on and enjoy life. Go for it!

Well, I guess I'm too much of a "Yank." Always the emphasis on young and model thin in the States. But thanks for all the support, guys. I'll definitely keep it in mind when I look through all the pics of my upcoming adventure. If I see one I like, I'll seriously considering posting. There ought to be a TON to choose from. In each one of my sessions, I want to begin solo and I want hubby to take a number of pics before I get him to join me.

Sorry I haven't joined this thread. I do join in when I can and post any pics I've done. I certainly don't think of this as a boy's club cos, if anything, we girls are in control!

As for being less interesting at 40 - well, in that case I've been less interesting for six years! And if anything my tastes are getting more extreme by the day! I KNOW that your pics will be well received. It's not about age or shape, it's about willingness to get messy and you certainly seem to have that.

LOL, Hayley!!! First of all... 46??? No way, girlfriend! And, more importantly, one of my greatest sploshing role models talking to me!!! I knew YOU'D understand what it's like to want to get as dirty as possible. At least from your stories I thought you would. (Unless they're all Bill's work. But I don't think so. They're written the way you write.)

And your writings and sploshings have been such an inspiration to me to feel freer about how much I love to do this. I am so honored to be receiving encouragement from you! The Queen of WAM, LOL. But I want all the people to know who have been encouraging me the last few days (Eden, moddermonster, Richard, Simon and of course, Hayley, just to name a few), I REALLY appreciate it. I haven't done this in several years, so I'm a little nervous and I'm really nervous how hubby will react. Although he has SWORN I can do my worst to him (after I've put on a very dirty show for him first, I always like to solo first, many times with him making me his sploshing target, and then bring him in) and he'll enthusiastically participate. And he knew I'd react to that kind of a challenge. And I'm also a little bothered that I don't look quite like I did when we first married. But then, neither does he.

I also knew when he told me 5 1/2 weeks ago that he was willing to have a go at it again, that I needed to tell SOMEONE. I mean, I'm going COMPLETELY NUTS in anticipation, and I ABSOLUTELY couldn't tell my friends or family. I'm not even telling HIM everything I'm planning because I'm worried he'll back out if he knows exactly how much mess I'm getting together to get both of us into. So I checked out UMD, where I used to chat many years ago, and also came across this site by accident. And a lot of you have been very encouraging. So thanks, and I will really try to find a pic I feel comfortable posting.

Oh, and I almost forgot!! I LOVE your take, Hayley, that this isn't really a boys' club... that the chicks rule!!! You know, Charles Colson, one of Nixon's closest companions during the Watergate years, is credited with having come up with the saying, "When you have them by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow." The first time I heard that I thought, "Every female since the dawn of man has known that. Figures it would take a man to put that concept into words and be admired for it." <Ducking for the female bashing flame war that will inevitably begin at any moment!>

Hubby & I just came back from a very popular local Chinese restaurant. We got there about 5 mins ahead of our reservation, but, as usual, the place was packed with several people waiting. So we went to the bar where I had a sake. (I know, go figure, you can get sake in a Chinese restaurant! One of its many charming allures! Or is that alluring charms?) And sitting next to me had to be this 70 year-old in a VERY obvious tight leather corset, leather waist-coat and leather pants with matching boots that were actually zippered around the mid-calf to her pants just as if they were part of the outfit! I couldn't believe it! And I have to admit, for about 70, she looked pretty hot. So wtf am I worried about being ready to wam again at 40? And I was actually looking this afternoon (I SWEAR) at digital cameras for hubby to shoot about a zillion pics of me with a better camera when I'm soloing for him. (With at least a couple of pics I'm hoping to be sufficiently non-descript of my face and a little deceptive of my current body shape so I won't mind posting them here.) I guess I really shouldn't be all that self-conscious. I mean, if someone in her 70s can pass off with a dom look in public in a family restaurant (this wasn't Chinatown in NYC we're talking about), why should I care about showing myself off wamming here?

I'm answering your call for females with messy comments. Go to the story forum if anyone is interested, and I'll post a very detailed story about my wam session from last night. It was, somewhat sadly, only a solo session. But I did it because I had to test a few things out for what I've been calling my wamathon I've been planning on doing with hubby nine days from today! I'm planning as many as 8 days of some very serious sploshing if he's willing (possibly could even stretch it to 9 if I had to), but he's never really been into this, so I'll take whatever he wants to share with me and I'll solo the rest of the time.

Oh I completely forgot! Since one of the items I experimented with last night will probably lead me to not use that substance during the wamathon, that will actually extend the wamming period one more day because I won't have to bother mixing all the cake mixes that I probably won't be using now. OMG, if I don't use the cake batter, I'll actually be ready to begin, at least soloing, next Thursday! That's only 8 days from now! And it means I can do 9 days of wamming for sure and extend it to 10 days if I want. (I'll bet some of you can hear my heart pounding excitedly at the thought of this from across the pond!)
