Billie Piper Sploshing - The Programme!

However in this week's "We Love Telly" magazine (see what a classy literate lady I am) Billie does describe it as her favourite scene. I quote:

Any favourite scenes?
"Definitely the bit where we experiment with food and sex. It's called sploshing, apparently. But I'm not talking about chocolate or honey, I mean things like beans. I had to have beans poured down my knickers and then a proper food fight. It was hilarious to film."

Well, Billie, you know where to come for more laughs!

I watched the programme tonight where Billie met and interviewed the real "Belle". I enjoyed the programme but it set me thinking; This doesn't affect domestic sploshing between partners when 'anything goes' but rather the commercial sessions where money changes hands. Although there is no actual intercourse, there is usually a sexual frisson; frequently (but not always) nudity and sometimes some touching of genitals. Is this a very mild form of prostitution? After all, the man can get some sexual satisfaction from the session, either as a stimulant for lovemaking with his regular partner or simply to masturbate afterwards with the memories. It would be interesting if we could get the opinions of some models and/or producers.

Prostitution implies some form of sexual act, so unless a sexual act takes place it is not prostitution in the legal sense. A more apt term used in some parts of America could be "Pandering" which is "to provide gratification for others desires". There is no doubt that commercial sessions provide gratification for others desires, so perhaps pandering is the right term.

On that basis I would like to thank Candy very much for her excelent pandering last year, and look forward to a repeat pandering as soon a I can arrange one.

I've only just joined this forum so hi everyone and straight away picked up on this thread because I look a lot like Billie(even did a cover for a TV magazine as her as Rose. LOL)and i've seen the clip of her sploshing which was ok as she got a pie in her face and beans down her knickers but I don't think she injoyed it.

Nice picture, but as Billie was quoted in the press this weekend as describing her sploshing scene as 'her favourite' in the series and saying what good fun it was, I don't think you can say she didn't enjoy it.

Thank you mudskipper, 'pander' is a much more appropriate word and one which I had forgotten at the time of posting. My copy of the OED gives another very tenuous connection with sploshing as on the page after 'pander' is 'pandowdy' which I hadn't encountered before. Apparently it is an American name for a cake or open pie made from apples and molasses. Sounds ideal for throwing, etc

Also agree, Candy does pander VERY well.

NINA, you certainly make a very beautiful woman; I had to look twice at your picture to realise it wasn't really Billie Piper! On further inspection I think it has a bit of the young Joanna Lumley about it. Hope that isn't insulting, she was one of my idols many years ago.

The first episode (in fact a double bill) was on tonight (28th Jan, ITV2, 10.00pm GMT) and, no, the sploshing sequence wasn't in either programme.

There was another programme afterwards where Billie Piper interviewed the real Belle, and there was further reference to sploshing, with comments on how it was 'full on' with knickers filled with beans, and a further clip from the scene. It sounds as though the cake-sitting at least was very loosely scripted (although it quite likely wasn't) and they were allowed to 'go for it' bigtime.

I can't wait for the actual episode.

Did anyone see her interview on This Morning yesterday? Holly Willoughby said she didn't know what sploshing was (bluffing?) Given the amount of gungeing and pieings she got as a childrens presenter I thought she'd know. Anyway I get the impression Billie likes it. One of the first things she said to Holly was 'we could splosh right now!' (I wish).

Sadly I missed Billie & Holly...I think there's a lot of faux ignorance going on here (ie mainstream presenters claiming they don't know what it is to get the guest to explain for the viewers).

Billie and Holly sploshing together? That would have been too much in the early morning for me!

i wonder if there will be more people joining the splosh and umd groups after seeing all the coverage of sploshing the past few weeks? its not as well known as some of the other fetshes or will people just see it as joke?
