I believe she could have left because of technical issues. On a post on the UMD she said she thought she lost several pic sets. In another post she said she recovered them and
was going to put them up at a later date. She also said she was on the verg of doing two new projects. That was the last we heard from her. It's possible all of this fell threw and
she just decide to pack the whole thing up and quiet. Who knows we may someday here from her again maybe.

Re: WamPrincess... a 'what ever happened to' thread....
I don't think I mentioned 100%, just that I'd expect to be paid. I guess it depends whether someone is an amateur or professional model. If they are a professional I would have thought you would have to pay the travel/accommodation plus a reasonable amount of the fee. If they hadn't come to you they could potentially be missing out on another gig.
I bow down to the superior knowledge of people who actually do it!
It is a shame that she disappeared from the scene as I did enjoy her stuff, and I do remember some talk that she'd lost some content, but I agree with Richard that it's down to basic business, if it doesn't sell (if that indeed was the case) then you go out of business...

As for cancellation's it never happened yet, but if it did they would mostly likely get about 25-30% of there fee to cover there travel
expenses for the day. I would not pay them 100% which was what made me laugh about Pup's comment.
Here endeth how to make money from sploshing ie you cannot!!! you must have another form of media/incorme.

It also depends on how much you EXPECT to make from running a sploshing business. I have always seen it as a part of what I do (writing, radio etc) and a lot of fun, so any contribution financially is welcomed rather than essential. I got the feeling (maybe wrongly) that Clare expected more than that and with kids and a quite expensive house etc she had a lot more to pay for than I do now. But it was probably more a money/time spent doing it problem than anything else.
Nobody should feel guilty (producers or customers) for not helping out. She never mentioned any problems to us so we didn't know, and customers aren't able to buy any more than there is on offer. We would happily employ her as an individual model because she is very good (her films with Gilly were excellent) but I know she wanted more than this.

Wow. That was a lively bunch of correspondence. So, I imagine, the answer to the question of 'What happened to the WAM Princess?' is (a) She married and started a family. And (b) Although much appreciated, not enough sales were generated.
Now then, following on.
May I enquire, 'What happened to Louise Hodges, Linzi Drew, Fiona Richmond and Red [from the unknown bucket set on the Splosh Free Section, I think I saw a note that a new set was being created]? Are they still working?

Louise is still in touch, has a family and is therefore not often available. Linzi Drew is still married to Ben Dover as far as I know and long retired from modelling. Red is still working but Fiona Richmond must be about 80!

Not quite Mr Shipton.
Fiona Richmond [aka Harrison?] was born in 1945, so she's just 64/65. However, I take the point; maybe I should have asked, 'Is she still alive?'

Mind you. Joan Collins, Sophia Loren and Claudia Cardinale are similarly mature. And still in good working order.

Has Gilly and her Silly House had similar problems? - there doesn't seem to have been anything new posted on the site for many months.
Re: WamPrincess... a 'what ever happened to' thread....
No, it has other probems that I will tell you about when I've recovered from today's private session.

Bill - it must have been a hellava private session if you haven't recovered by now.
Re: WamPrincess... a 'what ever happened to' thread....
Yes, it was - over 150 pies, 35 litres of custard and nine buckets of cake mix plus three girls and the man who booked it. Still haven't cleared up properly!
Gilly's original problem was a very slow and rubbish webmaster who never did as he was asked or if he did took ages to do it. We have been waiting for some work for about a year! As a result, I think I am going to put up with his shouting and just do the thing myself in future. However, matters have been slightly complicated by a personal difficulty which Gilly is dealing with and 'may' affect her availability. Oh, and there's a sudden shortage of cheap shaving foam!!!
However, some of the Gilly films are available on download (no membership required) at www.gillysillyhouse.com/video-vault/index.html including one of her encounters with WamPrincess Clare called Police Pie Me (Pts1 & 2). See how I brought that back on topic....

Re: WamPrincess... a 'what ever happened to' thread....
Bill - thanks for explaIning the problems and I wish you well in getting Gilly and her House up and running again.
Gilly has been one of the the most appreciated stars of comedy slapstick for some years and long may she perform for our enjoyment and entertainment.
It always seemed a pity that Wam Princess didn't stay and do more work with Gilly instead of starting her own web site.
Perhaps they both might have gained some benefit from appearing together more than they did.

Wamprincess has just made a post on the UMD. Bill you were mostly right in your answer as to why she left and she's now lurking
trying to get a new site up and running.
