Question-How often do you indulge in wam?

I think it depends a lot on how you do it - if it's a big production and requires 4 hours of prep and cleanup, then you don't do it as often.

As for me, I gravitate towards simple sensual pleasures, which goes well solo or with my partner. I have found ways of reducing the amount of cleanup required, so I spend more time having fun and less time with hassle.

So with the simple and quick plays, plus unrestricted as far as other household members are concerned, for me it's just about every day. And loving it!

I havent done a big session since i did splosh shoot with DD, now and again when im in the shower i use shaving cream for no reason except it feels good. My husband isnt into it at all so i would have to do it alone, but im a bit of a diva and like pictures taken too, and we dont have much cash . Was going to do a bit this week but things are kind of up in the air, but when things settle i shall be using my concoctions in the shower and send some piccies (my friend who isnt into sploshing but likes using his camera will be there to record the first sploshing in 2 years hehehehehe)

It does annoy me when people say they are "too busy" to to get messy! Why? Are you constanly doing other activites? Just plan a session and go for it whether alone or with a partner its not that difficult.

Well that may be easy for you to say, SM, but some of us have to work for a living! Others may be in the fortunate (or perhaps unfortunate) position of being men or women of leisure.

In my case, when you work in a professional occupation and you can't avoid your job following you home if you're to meet the almost impossible deadlines that are thrust upon you then you often tend to be still at your desk well into the small hours. Combine that with running your own business that has to run 7 days/week 'on call' and you start to get some idea of how almost impossible it is to do all the things that you have to do, let alone the things that you'd like to do. I haven't even had a holiday for three years!

So don't 'get annoyed' (which does seem a rather strange reaction), just get some understanding of the fact that not everyone is as lucky with their time pressures as you may be.

Messy pretty much every day here.... the least is 2 - 3 times a week. Love it and wouldn't have it any other way

OMG!!! lol. I have a few obstacles to WAMing that often. Too busy in my professional and personal life, my hubby doesn't share my level of enthusiasm (actually, he pretty much hates it), and as JohnnyB notes, if you're into big productions (as I am), it's difficult to do often just due to time, logistics and cost. But for my 40th birthday, my hubby agreed to give in to anything I want regarding wamming with him. He has no friggin clue what he's in for... hehe... my birthday was almost a month ago, and I think it will take me at least another month to gather everything I need to do this right!!!

I get the feeling no one is getting messy as often as they'd like to! I'm unfortunately among that crowd - life tends to get in the way far more often than I'd like! Once the big freeze is gone I'd like to get messy a little more often, but unfortunately I may be on the verge of losing my job, so I'll have to be watching my money that much more closely.

I do tend to get messy a few times a year with my girlfriend - she doesn't enjoy it *quite* as much as me, but she's certainly starting to come round to it. Here's hoping it'll be a messy 2010 for us both

I find that I make up so many excuses :
I can't afford to buy stuff (is the most common)
It's too cold (depending on the time of year)
I can't drive that far (good mud for me is around 100 miles away)
I have to go to work tomorrow (fearful that you'll still smell, or worse - miss something (ears are the worst))
I can't be arsed with the clean up.... (self explanatory)

In a perfect world for me - I would have a shed in the garden, with a big tub of mud, heated, and with a seperate are for a shower! That would pretty much cover all those excuses in one!

The answer is like many other posters, not as often as I would like.
My wife no longer enjoys doing WAM - although strangely she will fall about laughing if she sees someone - usually a woman, getting pied or sploshed on TV........... I know she'll like the Billie Piper episode when it is shown.

So like Josie it tends to be solo sessions in the shower, sometimes with shaving foam, or if I'm able to work from home, then maybe with treacle or syrup, but it has to be done in secret, and it has to clean up easily and leave no smells either on me or the shower cubicle.

The only time I get to have a serious session, is once a year at the end of January, when I go off to the Costa del Sol in Spain on my own for a week to do maintenance on our small house, and to check that it is still standing. That trip involves secret shopping trips to Asda or Morrisons for about a dozen packets of their own label custard mix and angel delight mixes, which get secreted into my suitcase on the day of departure. Once in Spain, I stock up on eggs and maybe ketchup and mayonnaise and plastic dustsheets. Sploshing tends to be at the start of my week's visit so any lingering custardy smells have time to be washed away!

This trip I intend to try using a tomato product Tomate Frito, which is very cheap and available in sizes up to a litre in supermarkets - it's like runny tomao puree. Just hope it doesn't stain........

I'm hoping to move into a flat of my own later in the year, but right now I'm sharing with somebody else, which makes my options rather limited! I managed to have an amazing self gunging session a few months ago though, using an entire box of porridge, and that was amazing. Since then all I've been able to do is fantasise.
