I have a friend who took part in the Hell Race which has a lot of mud and water. She showed me some pics but they are tiny phone ones. Looked pretty gruelling though. Will ask if I can put a few up, but like I say they are tiny.

Maldon happens every year think there is a waiting list for takingnpart. It usually gets a load of coverage in local an national papers and tv ....

I tried for 4 years to get an entry accepted for that race and i used to live in Southminster at the time just down the road really,
Its probably the most heavily oversubscibed race in the world,its all for charity.

Some groups have block bookings running for years in advance i have heard and the race is fully sold out within hours of entries opening.
They have to limit it for safety as it is a tidal area
