I bet she'll have more takers than the guy inviting people to build a shed in his back yard. Hope someone from this forum goes to this event.

Make a Splosh!
Go to a dinner party food fight with Katie Fletcher
Sat 14th Nov_6pm
Duration: 2 hours 30 mins. Price: £12.50. Age: 18+
This event will take place in NE4*

Dress up smart and join me for dinner. After a civilised tour of the premises, and a light aperitif, I will serve you a slap up meal. Then you will have to decide: you can either eat it or throw it; or smother yourself in whatever course you fancy.

Hurl the hamburgers, toss the tart, pitch the peas, cast the custard, lob the lentils, propel the pancakes, and bowl the blancmange. Join me for a feast of pleasures and indulge in playing with your food.

I'd go with Lisa, but, busy with Gunjee that night in Swindon, also, Lisa is a veggie, so I very much doubt she would enjoy having hamburgers thrown at her.

Love the idea but would never do that in our own home! Just imagine the clean up!

Well looks like lots of people from this board are going, or there are many closet wammers in the north east. Emailed the organiser of the event and he thinks that tickets are sold out! They have been on sale for a couple of weeks now. Shame because GG had mentioned wamming to one of her friends a while ago and she was up for trying it, this was the perfect opportunity and we spoke to her last night and her and a female friend were well up for it.

Ah well, might have to have our own food fight, not sure about the two friends joining in but we will have fun and post pictures up. Always wanted to mess GG up in a posh frock

No wonder the term Splosh is in Viz's Magna Farta - it's obviously big in the North East! Wish I could go!

Well. It appears to have hapened on Sat Night. Here is the podcast.
Although it doesn't show much, you still get the idea of how it went.
Apparently a good time was had by all.
I would like think there will be more of these events organised in the future
