Happy to say that this is proving quite popular on Youtube. It is pleasing to see that considerably more people have downloaded it than seen the posts here and on UMD - so there are a lot more slapstick fans out there than are admitting to it!

Should we set up a Youtube channel? I don't know what's involved in that but it does cheer me up that there are plenty of people out there still into slapstick even if they don't want to come to a rude site like this.

Someone put a link up to it up on i-am-bored so that might explain some of the views.

Beautiful!! I like the new presentation but I'm still trying to work out what the music is; I know I have it on CD somewhere, just can't find it.

Where's wamadeus when I need him?

Edit: Got it! - 'Mozart, Piano Concerto No 21, Andante(2nd movement).

Having met 'Lord Bragg of Wigton' (used to know Melvin's Mum & Dad quite well when I lived in Wigton) I'll let him know about the vocal take-off if I ever see him again! :P

I hadn't seen that before. It's quite clever but I think the novelty would very quickly wear off. I found it almost impossible to backtrack to where I'd been as things kept flying off in all directions and you don't seem to be able to investigate things that might be of interest as hovering over one thing causes all the linked items to fly off. A bit irritating in the end!

Thanks for the nice comment, though I'm not sure about the new presentation myself. Was pleased with the number of hits this film has had too till I watched Aerosmith's "Don't Want to Miss a Thing" along with 44 million others!

Bill,

Just for clarity - I, too, was referring to the presentation style (the floating circular things that fly off in all directions when you hover over one) when I said 'the novelty would soon wear off', not the video which I think is absolutely brilliant! (Love the Melvyn intro too!)

I now know where Hayley's avatar comes from!
