Not jiacking but will any meets be nearer to our end of the woods, like Sheffield or Doncaster or somehwrere about 2 hours drive away?

From looking on posts in past there is a number of people from South Yorkshire/Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire areas .... why not put a message out and organise an meet up for drinks and chat? Doncaster may not be the best location far too many idiots in the pubs there on a Friday/Saturday etc! Sheffield has a good few pubs that have an alternative feel to them or are just nice places to drink without being too busy/noisy. Beside those that want to can go play in the fountains in the Peace Gardens!!!!!

I have never been in any pubs in Sheffield but i understand it can be a bit rough in some of the pubs, but im sure there must be somne decent ones, anybody know of one that doesnt have fights/scary people and people who look at you in that kind of "Your not from these parts are you?" way?

This will be my first meeting with you all, nervous...no, but should i be??? lol. Being my first meet up i'm not quite sure what to expect, yes i know we all end up clutching a beer glass and having our picture taken at the most unexpected moments, but what else happens??? Will there be models like previous meetings i've seen pictured here, and will there be any sploshing going on???

Hi Mr sniffles, I'm looking forward to meeting you. The exact details can never be predicted. It is not intended that any actual sploshing will take place; in fact if anyone tries it they may well be ejected! It is a social gathering just as you would experience if you went to your local pub with a group of friends. the conversation will range over many and varied subjects. perhaps including one's own sploshing adventures compared with those of others. It can also include "shoes & ships and sealing wax, and cabbages and kings!" Also busses, trams and trains.

The main object for me is to meet other members of this (and other) forums. It is a bonus if a model or two turn up but there are usually a couple of producers/site owners present so you can get to see in person who is getting your hard earned cash! Your opinions will be valued and your presence appreciated. Don't worry; I was nervous before I went to my first Meet but the welcome was warm and sincere so I've been to lots since.

You would indeed have every right to complain to us if you have had an unexpected picture taken which rarly happens. Everyone is always asked before hand if they want to be in pictures or not and some people do opt out and we respect that fully.
