It came from a sale at a village hall I called in at on my way past, the shirt is new. I said it was for a present and was persuaded into buying the little green pony for 25p. It has now taken pride of place on my desk!

I wish I had all my ponies still - I had aboout fifty and gave them all except one away. Now I realise that some were 'first editions' and worth about seventy quid each. D'oh.

Apparently this pony I have is called 'tropical surprise', and knowing my luck with these kind of things must be worth--about half what I paid for it!!!
A friend of mine called today and saw the pony on the desk, and he told me last year when he cleared his house out he found his daughters old ponies, she didn't want them so they ended up going to the council tip
A week later he saw some in a second hand/ collectors shop the same as his daughter had and some were priced at £30 each as they dated from the 80's. His words were "I think I made a mistake there",personally I think they were probably his which had been salvaged.
