Is this some sort of football forum??! ;)

Maybe we should have some sort of football predictions thread, with suitably messy forfeits for the losers!

I think Stoke and Hull may have second season syndrome and go down, Wigan could struggle. I think City will end up 5th or 6th despite the ridiculous sums they have spent. Surely Arsenal will struggle to get 4th with all their injuries and strange transfer strategy?

I reckon good old Arsenal :D - will be top 4 due to their team spirit and they might even win a cup or 2.

IMO Man City 5th at best - cos of the adage of too many chiefs(or big egos) and not enough Indians, plus because of the huge amount of new signings the team might not gel that well...

I think my local side Colchester will also do well this season, 7-1 away to Norwich? Sorry Canary fans...
I like pies and I like gunge but which is better? There's only 1 way to find out - FIGHT!!!

Don't blame me, I only wrecked a couple of shirts and look what it has turned into

Does this mean I need to start looking for Hull and Portsmouth shirts now?

By the way a freind of mine who follows Hull City told me their chairman said in their local paper that Hull didn't stay up because they played well, rather the reason was other teams played worse than they did!

And I still know nothing about football!!
We'll have to drink our way out of this

If anyone can predict with any level of certainty what will happen in 9 months time please let me know and I'll get down the bookies :)

Isn't it good though that the BBC is showing non-premiership football now? I prefer the smaller clubs. It's more like Match of the Day used to be when I was a kid and the BBC were obliged to show matches from all the league divisions.

PS Bill, Bury are on tomorrow night against WBA, if you like smaller clubs! :D

As an ex-midlander and Frank Skinner fan, I could easily add WBA to the teams I take an interest in.
