I've never gone for good looking blokes! They are usually too smarmy and arrogant. Like them a bit rough and ugly, though not in a geeky way like Lembit! Big is good too!

I just followed the link again and the dateline had changed to 'augustus' (Spanish?), I was sure it was 'agusto' last time I looked so I copied & pasted it this time (see bottom line). Could it be that the link operates randomly to other language editions of the paper? But the rest of the text is in english . Aaaaagghh!

I think you are losing it Rich, it's been August for me every time. Can't imagine they have different versions? Maybe your PC is set to spanish or something? Either that or I'm missing some private joke

Muckypup, as far as I know there is no private joke. My pc is not set to anything other than 'English, UK'. I didn't know the Italian for august until I clicked on the link and saw the dateline as 'Agosto' so I looked it up in my Italian dictionary. Similarly with 'Augustus' and I checked with the Spanish dictionary. No doubt you have noticed how meticulous I am with spelling and grammar in my posts and when I am given a link, I read the whole thing, not just the relevant text for sploshing interest.

Because I am as mystified as you are, I have repeatedly tried the links and always got 'august'. I have no explanation for the earlier discrepancies but am confident that I saw them.

I may well be heading towards senility but I have not reached it yet.

Maybe they had some glitches at their end for a bit! From a technical point of view having content in a page wrong would more likely be at the server end...

Whatever it is,Lembit's obviously doing something right! Lucky sod....

Since it is now 'official', I can tell you that the story of Katie and Lembit's relationship was complete bollocks (Katie's words). Basically, they posed for pictures together to promote something and then agreed with their agents to sell the idea that they were together to get people to buy the pics (which they did in their droves). Katie made quite a bit from the photo sales, though I can't comment on Lembit - except yo say that he does seem addicted to limelight.

Shrewd move and to a certain extent, playing the tabloids at their own game and winning.
