Apart from that on the girls dresses, I don't think there was much, if any, mess inside the pub. Most if not all was outside on the pavement. It was only shaving soap anyway.

It is true that the barman / assistant manager was a little high-handed and actually quite rude. I did tell him it was only shaving foam on my t-shirt as he stopped going back for my bag.

So, instead, I told him to hold my empty glass while his colleague retrieved my bag. There was no need for his attitude. Still, that's his problem . . . :roll:

Sorry the Wamtastic gang could not make it, we just had too many commitments the week before with wrestling shows, messy shoots etc.

Hopefully we will make it for Novemember.

Isn't it odd how it's always Managers and Asst Managers of pubs who are a pain never the landlords or landladies. We have a similar problem at my local.

The managers & assts worry about their jobs whereas the landlord appreciates that a bit of fun might boost trade & profits. Makes sense

Had a blast as always, although waking up to hear of the passing of the colossus that was Sir Robert William Robson brought me back down to earth with a bump. Nice to see Sploshman arrive in good time (hope the hat's recovered :lol:

) and the killjoys that passed for bar staff didn't dampen my enjoyment of the foam fight at the end.

Looking forward to November already

Before we finally lay this topic to rest, may I also pay tribute to the lovely young ladies who decorated and enlivened the later part of the evening; Michelle (great fun :lol:

- there isn't a suitable smiley) and Lisa (of course,- mmmwaah!). Not sure about the hooligan they brought with them, must have picked him up at a lay-by somewhere! If so, its a salutary warning not to pick up hitch-hikers! :lol:
