Re: scotland
There ye go Gus, and it's nice to see for me too that there are a few of us into it up here too
Wambee has posted on the forums for years and she's from somewhere in Scotland too.
I'm Central belt too and have casually kept an eye open for possible places to have some fun at...
...I looked on Flash Earth last year and saw the River Carron on the Forth not far from the Kincardine bridge which looked quite...'interesting'...but I went there to check it out the tide was in and it had a footpath at the bit I thought was muddy so I wrote the idea off cos there were people using the path.
I've recently seen a pic of Southerness which looks maybe interesting, and some pics of Kippford which looks like it has a lot of potential for enjoying some fun in the mud
..they are on the South-West coast, west of Dumfries, so maybe you'll be able to comment on these places matt???
I'm off in a couple of weeks and am seriously thinking of taking off down there to check the whole coastline out, and maybe even indulge a bit if it's good enough
If anybody has any other places in our land of milk & honey that they know of where some quiet fun can be had then feel free to 'spill the beans'....figure of speech....or maybe not...lol.

I'm living in South West Scotland also, so you are certainly not alone! Not much sploshing goes on down here but I do Like visiting the North East of Scotland where the practice of "blackening the bride and groom" a couple of weeks before their wedding still takes place. This involves tying up the couple in public and covering them in real messy gunge.
