This was a sensible, balanced discussion of the subject. Its interesting that when TV companies occasionally tackle this, they go for sensationalism, and don't strike this note, whcih conversely Holly has got down pat.

Two other thoughts struck me

1) Slimey Sophie is quite clearly a star
2) There's some poor sold of a media student presently tackling a parallel forum elsewhere in cyberspace, desperately trying to present the arguments to and for, say, being beaten to an inch of your life.......

Very good documentary Holly! I liked the balance of it - it's not all just about the sexual side of it which seems to be the focus most of the other attemps on the subject.

And the credits were fine - lazy's the way forward!

Couldn't agree more with everyone else. Great documentary it definitely wouldn't be out of place on mainstream TV. In fact I've seen a fair few less professional, less well put together docs on channel 4 :)

It was great to see all the people I know from here in the flesh so to speak. I think it turned out brilliantly and not at all the hatchet job that it could have been lazily made to be.

Great work Holly.

Top work! I actually did mistake it for a BBC production for a little while - I think it was the soundtrack!

I liked how it manage to keep in focus the dual nature of sploshing - yes, it is a sexual fetish for some, but at the same time it's a heck of a lot of fun, and not necessarily 'seedy' which is how it usually seems to be portrayed.

Just promise you won't do a doc rehabilitating Gordon Brown, else he might go down as a good PM!

We just saw it and we thought it as very good, especially compared to some things we've seen and read. We laughed when Holly got the pie in the face! And it's always nice to see Bills penis.

Channel 4 does documentaries muckypup? I thought they just did Big Brother, occasionally interruoted by Jon Snow wearing a silly tie.

I quite liked it, though I felt it could have done with being a bit longer. I guess in a way it was a sort of wam primer, but I felt it could have done with a bit more detail - inclusive of wetlook, mud and other non-food related paraphenalia.

Still, overall pretty good. I did like the grunge drip title sequence.

Very interesting documentary and how professional was that! Also great to actually hear the voices of Bill, Richard and Sophie. Makes everything so much more real....if you see what I mean.

I wish it could have been longer too! I was restricted to a 12 - 15 minute time slot!

I'd just like to thank you all so much for the lovely comments!
I got my results back today! Over all I got a good 2:1 (To those unsure - a first is exceptional... then 2:1... then 2:2 and so on) "A Trifle Messy got an individual mark of 68% - 2 marks off a first!!! They liked it a lot however did make a few picky comments about me not putting people on the spot a bit more with my questions - as I explained before filming... to do that was against all of my intentions! So overall I am very happy!
Thank you all again for the comments! I really love that you feel that I portrayed Sploshing fairly, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so glad you have enjoyed watching it too!!!!
