You're too late, I drank them about ten years ago.

Planet Earth. Where, due to a terrible miscalculation of scale, all the Splosh Millions were accidentally hidden in one bottle of beer. Which was then drunk. 8)

Contrary to popular belief, the Splosh! Millions would only buy about one bottle of beer.

That Messy Jo clip at Abbeystead (and perhaps one of the satin PJ sets of Andy in the same location?) look like excellent mud but I've looked at Google and OS maps and never managed to work out exactly whereabouts in Abbeystead it is. It looks suitably remote and sheltered from view but is it? If so, I'd be tempted to have a go there, if I ever get time and knew where I was looking for. Any clues, folks?

Two interesting things we learnt about Abbeystead after going there;

1) Its main claim to fame historically is a disaster that took place there in the seventies, when an experimental pumping station blew up causing several fatalities

2) The beautiful woods in the area are enjoyed by none other than the Queen, who walks around them when visiting the aristocrat who owns the land.

We sadly never learnt if Her Maj likes rolling in the mud there, maybe if she'd turned up while we were playing she might have joined in.

Now there's an idea for a skit we could have done - royal mud bathing. One of us could have gone in the mud dressed as The Queen, flanked by attendants, as a hushed voice over describes the proceedings with reference to royal protocol..

And here comes the Royal party now, in a ceremony dating back to the earliest days of the Monarchy, exquisitely bedecked in their ceremonial finery as they enter the mud, specially prepared by Royal Appointment using techniques perfected by Messrs. Muck and Boggs of Doncaster in the 17th Century...

I can even imagine Andy's voice reciting this as the Royal Correspondent.

The land is owned by the Duke of Westminster, ie the queens fella! How do I know this, I've met his security on-tarage!!! I now have a telephone for security as last time I was there I did startle them somewhat. The mud patch is right next to hid Dukeyship's land. They where out inspecting the fences. The reason I know everybody calls him his Dukeyship, is I've met him. He thought it was all terribly good fun... So if you ever see plain blue landrover 4x4 get ready as it might be royalty.

I've never actuall done a shoot in Abbeystead myself CW I've always taken other people up there. You might be thinking of Boothstown pond, I use that a lot. Happened to be in there this morning as the weather nice. Though the peach pjs have died!! to much muck and mess, god they stank. Plus I got bit to death!!! of the midgeys!!!

regards

Of course, this traditional ceremony should be for the younger female members of the Royal Family and their entourage (and Fergie?). :lol:

Brings back some good memories :lol:

I have found the place called "Abbystead". I have looked on the map (atlas), the place is a small village (or town) is in Lancashire in the area east of M6 (about 2 or 3 miles away in the east of M6). The nearest access is from Junction 33 of the M6. Is that the place where the WAM is held?
I love ladies dress up in smart business knee length skirt suits with sleeved blouse and full underwear to get messy and wet.
