I'm a massive fan of Red Dwarf, but my favourite type of show is sketch comedy, Monkey Dust being top of them.

Seeing Star Trek next week at the IMAX! Woo-hoo!

Just splurged 80 quid on the original films blu-ray boxset. Awesome stuff.

Audio commentries by Leonard Nimoy and the Shats anyone?

A girl after my own heart, Jennifer.

Saw Star Trek this afternoon. Excellent. Really enjoyable as hoped for. I think they beautifully paid homage to the original whilst successfully updating Star Trek for a new generation of fans.

I'm a bit behind here, but I saw Star Trek yesterday and I agree it was excellent. I'm not a massive Trekkie although I do quite enjoy it but it was a great film, definitely recommended.

I saw it last week and I thought that it was a mediocre film, and a terrible Trek film. Thus I made a list of things I didn't like about the film - I got to 45 without even trying. (http://mattbuck007.livejournal.com/20992.html)

Favourite starship is the Enterprise-E - that is one good looking starship.

Oh, and holodecks would be great for messy sex.

Surely you remember that the Enterprise-D has a compliment of 1,014 :P

I didn't know the exact number, but I remembered it was over 1000. The NCC-1701 of course only had a complement of around 400, Voyager was around 150 and Defiant 40.

Which makes me more annoyed the Kelvin had 800.
