A few more details about my meeting...
I tried to 'correct' one or two things in the script which the producers duly wrote down (and probably threw away) but if they do it the way suggested, Colin and Billie will get BIG pies in the face early on followed by some messy play and then knicker filling. Later on, Billie (dressed in lingerie) will be sitting in a huge cake and there will be a food fight between them. Of course, this may all last about five seconds but I have tried to tell them the quantities should be large (like the pies) and they have been looking at the forum and our Youtube film Pie Ballet for guidance. Colin is a really nice bloke who is well up for it.
It was a fun and funny afternoon held in Tiger Aspect's "Award Room" (full of various awards they have won over the years - I wish I'd brought my Gold Cock!). Most of them seemed to understand and like the concept of sploshing, though the female producer clearly didn't ("Ugggh, getting your clothes messy!") and admitted that their initial idea had been to take the piss. I think I dissuaded them of that. Of course, it could all have been a waste of time, but even so it was a day out and I had an enjoyable drink with Colin after who was easily the least luvvie of the lot.
One thing will be a disappointment (which I'll tell you now so you don't get at me when it comes out). The scene opens with a long shot of all the food that Billie intends to use in the scene, but sadly you only get to see a tiny amount in action. I did suggest a 'red button' service where that bit carries on for digital viewers, but they weren't up for it!
Anyway, we'll see what happens.
PS The meeting started in the best sploshing style. Somebody brought in a tray of drinks and tripped over, spilling the lot onto the table. The bottles of fizzy water were also so shaken up that when they were opened they sprayed all over the person holding it - and we hadn't even started discussing anything yet.
